Anybody here who are using Zalman NC1500? How much it costs? Is it fit 15'' and above laptops? How about the performance?

QUOTE(highwind85 @ Mar 2 2010, 04:26 PM) I last saw at All IT hypermart@ low yat...rm149 or rm159...around the price of Zalman NC1000...The performance should be similar to NC1000 as they are using the same fan and similar design...it should fit 15.6 and 16 inch...not very sure about 17 inch...It is to fit in the gap between NC1000 and NC1500 If I compare Zalman NC1500 and NC2000, which one you think is better in performance as I'm now in dilemma in choosing between this two. Thanks so much for your pics. Now, I have a better vision on how it will looks like if I put a 14'' laptop on it. Anyway, do you think 14'' laptop fit this cooler?
Besides that, why do you "cello tape" your speakers? This post has been edited by Jeffrey1987: Mar 4 2010, 03:14 AM |

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Mar 4 2010, 03:19 AM) Looking at the dimensions......the ZM-NC2000 is still wider than my laptop by about 1 cm at both sides..Will definitely fit a 14" So you think ZM-NC2000 is not too big for 14'' laptop? As for the speakers, I do agree with you. I have seen before my friend's compaq laptop also have the same "dusty" speakers problem and can't get it out anymore even he used the "gel" cleaner (green colour one) ...Errr...about the cellophane tape... QUOTE(Fantasia @ Apr 3 2010, 11:32 PM) i read 1 review says that this cooler need more power than others... not really that suitable for most laptops if u want to usb port to power it Yea. IMHO if one wants to buy a USB powered notebook cooler, this is not really an ideal choice. However, if one wants performance wise and not really care about this matter, then this should be fit your requirements! Neverheless, the vid. below shows one of the owner who just powered his/ her notebook by just using USB port. This post has been edited by Jeffrey1987: Apr 4 2010, 06:53 AM |

QUOTE(Fantasia @ Apr 4 2010, 12:05 PM) According to GreaseMonkey90, one can choose to power it up via USB port. Thus, do not need not worry about "no more socket for this cooler".
