Wat PF T.J. said is right. I notice fake CMs usually have Chinese words on the boxes. Actually there r fakes everywhere, no matter wat brand anyway. Chinamen mostly choose the best brands to copy

1 of my fan like "rosak",cuz it spin more slower than b4 ..
not as fast as the other one ..
cooler master got 1 year warranty right ?
will claim for warranty when im back to jb later

Perhaps you should check whether the decreased fan speed is due to dust clogging the fan?
It happens from time to time since most users will only tend to clean off the dusts on the fan blades themselves and neglected the ones at the region around the blade tips...
You can try cleaning it with cotton buds

Oh ya, hair getting stucked on the motor cylinder will also significantly decrease fan speed

Any laptop cooler recommend with effective dust filter ? Budget below RM100

Anyway , does anyone know how to clean up the dust in the vent other then using compressed air ? Got any shop provide such service?

I think , if just using laptop cooler is not enough for serious laptop gamer. Most of the laptop cooler in the market , the fan suck air from bottom(which sometime will suck dust on the table/anything place that you placed the laptop cooler) , then blow up toward the laptop(most laptop bottom is fan intake system) . Which result the laptop also suck some of the dust , dust start to build up inside the laptop cooling system , the heat problem slowly increase as time pass.


The effective way for cooling that I think will work
-Dust/dirt free environment , clean up dust inside laptop every half year , apply thermal compound if possible?
-Use laptop cooler that have dust filter and adjustable(adjust the position that suitable for your laptop)fan to provide constant cool air for the laptop to suck
-Aluminium laptop cooler surface some people say useless because it does not direct contact with the laptop
-Lift up the laptop , provide more air flow(Which what I doing now)


Do correct me if I wrong , I new to laptop cooling

Hey everyone. I'm using a dell inspiron 1464. Can anyone recommend a good cooler for me? And, just wanted to ask, which type of cooler is better? The ones that suck air, or the ones that blow air? The intake vents on my laptop appear to be on the bottom though...
