My game(F1 2011) keeps lagging and I don't think its sure to ram issue. Last time it can play 1080p smoothly but nowadays it really can't, because my laptop is too hot? Temp around 70C+ for GC and around 60 for CPU

Hmmm I think I might need to apply thermal paste to my laptop. During Guild Wars II testing just now, CPU shot up to about 70C+ and GPU around 80C+
Whole laptop so damn hot

QUOTE(mhyug @ Apr 2 2013, 09:41 PM) is there any sort of utility software to measure laptops temp??or its not that accurate/useful to begin with? Err, you can try HWMonitor, pretty popular tool. You can check temperatures/voltages of your processor, mobo, graphics card, battery wear level and even the fan speed!

The cooling effect of the Cooler Master U2 Plus is abysmal at best. Very weak air flow rate. Totally overrated. Anything with much better airflow rate below RM100 for a 15.6" laptop? p/s: Noticed the Notepal A200 which seems to be quite good. Dual 140mm fans giving out 90CFM of air flow rate https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...l=laptop+coolerThis post has been edited by -kytz-: Dec 12 2013, 11:16 PM

I tested the Cooler Master A200 today and it's much better than the U2 Plus because of the much higher airflow rate. Goes for RM89 at ALL IT, anyone knows where I can get it cheaper do share ya

QUOTE(shebbycs @ Jan 17 2014, 10:11 PM) yeah I know but when I think back since I use my lappy for work and playing games like cs and other small games so in second thought i change my question so i change the price below 70 Get the RM89 one lah, pretty damn good. High airflow rate and silent, almost as good as my Zalman NC2000 premium cooler I bought few years ago Below RM70 macam all lousy one, either very low air flow rate or high flow rate but damn noisy

QUOTE(shebbycs @ Jan 17 2014, 10:19 PM) I am don have money ;( my budget around <70 because it is just cooler wondering why I need to spend much with notepad cooler ;( Then just get those RM30-40 ones, there's one VZTec which has high airflow but noisy a bit. It uses 1 big fan and 4 small fans. You can adjust either to use the small ones or the big ones or both. As for the others, just hop down to Viewnet Lowyat Plaza and go demo them lol. Sri Computers is a good place also.

Looks like my Zalman NC2000 laptop cooler is still alive! The airflow is alright but a little noisy now. It's already 4 years old and I've cleaned the fans already, anything else I can do?

Just bought the Cooler Master A200 and it's very good. Good airflow, probably one of the best in the market and it's quiet too I also like the fact that it isn't that bulky and it fits my 14" laptop perfectly. Being light makes it easy to carry around.

QUOTE(azsassin @ Feb 15 2014, 04:54 AM) how much is it? can it fit with 15'' laptop? Can. Good airflow but noisy for me though you can adjust the airflow rate. Still too pampered by my previous ultra low noise Zalman cooler
