is there anyone taking International Business in taylors? may need to ask a few questions

what questions do you have? It's very hard to find them. For now there is very little people taking only International Business in Taylor's.Though there's a lot are International Business and Marketing ^^

those usual questions- lecturers, subjects quality.

why is there so much difference in number of students for both courses? aren't they almost similar?

Because having double major shows that you're versatile in both area of business, thus a wider career choice?

So like, if the library at the lakeside campus closes at 9 but the parking lots (not sure which) close earlier than that, where would it be advisable to park? O__o

Financial Hardship is a full scholarship,right? Is there any other way for me to get the forms for the scholarship? because I am not from Semenanjung Malaysia, it is really a difficulty for me to go to Taylor to get the forms. I need to ensure that I can get a full scholarship before apply for admission. Thanks in advance..

If hospitality management got a lot of homework and assignment. The one I am gonna take is the degree one. And would it be matter if I am buying Mac laptop rather than Windows laptop? Would it also require me to install an app such as accounting app in the laptop? I am considering to buy macbook n didn't want to install windows on it lol...

It's quite impossible to walk from ss14 to lakeside campus. If you really want to walk, i think should be around 30mins.

Added on June 17, 2010, 2:23 amAs far as I know, this English test is only for those who get lower grade than B4 in their GCE-O in SPM. While if you are from UEC and do not sit for SPM, then I do not know.

hum since IBM incorporate half marketing subjects into the programme people are more attracted to it.It will open more doors. Last February during the registration on orientation week there are less than 10 people taking IB only but about 100+ taking IBM.

CAL is in either SS15 or Sri Hartamas. There's not really a problem walking to SS15.

I think your thinking of the wrong English test.The one your talking about is the one for those who did not get through Taylor's English Language Requirements to check their level of English so they can join the English classes where needed.

The English test the person is asking about are the ones used to gauge people's English levels and arrange them in classes in certain courses in TUC.Usually taken by everyone regardless of your English score even with IELTS Band 9.0 usually done during the orientation week.Though not all courses have this test as the structure doesn't really arrange you into the same group of people in classes.

Yeah this the one I want to ask about. N what is the example questionp that usually come out?

Does Taylor's require us to wear the lame black color Taylor's shirt during orientation day?

hum last time when I took it, it's kinda grammar questions some objective some fill in the blanks etc. etc. very easy stuff just that there's a lot of questions around 150 to 200 like that.

I heard from my friend that went for Degree in International Business and Marketing recently and they said it's about the same though that's in business school I don't know about other divisions.

hum no unless they ask you to.Usually Degree orientations are short about three days and they don't really tell you what to wear. They might ask you to wear it later on during a team building session though . ^^" Foundation orientations usually last for one week and they usually don't tell on the first day but set cloths to wear or the colour of cloths to wear on each day starting from the second day ^^"




Oh yeah Taylor's Business School has just received Gold Status as an ACCA tuition provider even though we're quite new in providing tuition for ACCA and only professional papers ^^. Even though not as good TARC and Sunway but we're slowly moving up ^^

Just a reminder ,
ADP will not be moving to PJ campus , instead , it will be moving to the lakeside campus at the end of the year.

Normally the orientation last how many hours? It states 9AM starts.

will last until about 3 pm or 4 pm or so.Depending on what kind of talks,activities and briefing you have to go through. Your orientation has some important stuff at certain times as there would usually be representatives from UniSA to tell you guys some stuff and all and unlike most of TUC you guys use UniSA's website for your lecture notes,assignments,tutorials etc. while others uses the Taylor's Blackboard.

Cool that's really fast for Taylors to get Gold Status ^^ I'm just waiting for their full time courses! actually TARC is also a gold status provider while Sunway areb the only Platinum Status in Msia... Ms. Vinitha must be doing a pretty good job with the ACCA programme considering it just started 2 sittings ago!

Sigh I miss Taylor's and UWE >.> life after is not so rosy >.<

Is Software Engineering only available in ADP?

It's available in other universities , not taylors thou

Basically , ADP provides you with the general credits only. So as long as you're in the engineering major , you can transfer to US to major in any form of engineering.

Best if you could check with the universities in US that you intend to transfer to next time.

(Correct me if i'm wrong)

yeah Ms. Vinitha must be working really hard XD. Hum I heard from Mr. David last week that TARC received platinum status as well though I'm not really sure about it.

There are two ways to get into Software Engineering through Taylor's though both can not be completed locally. First of all is through the ADP programme and the second way is through the Bachelor of Computer Science twinning with RMIT. After some time and meeting the requirement you can credit transfer into the Software Engineering programme in RMIT Australia.
