Hi there guys, have u ever experience taylor's admin service kindda very slow lately?

Taylors service is in their worst performance.....5 years plus in taylors and there is no improvements in their performance. Asked for a transcript last week and having being paid an expensive sum but what they told you when you come at the collection date?. "Owh yeah, i'm sorry..we're kindda forgot about it..can you come next week?".

The following is forwarded from Mr Justin Victor. Note that this is open to students from all faculties, not just the School of Communication.

Hi All

Let’s meet to talk further about the project to run a news and features broadcasting channel (webTV).

Come for the meeting this Wednesday, 26 May 2010, 12 -2pm. Keep the time free and I will tell you the venue.

Among the different jobs for this project:

1.       Cameraperson
2.       BJs - Broadcasting journalist (the talking face in front of the camera)
3.       Video editing
4.       Web maintenance
5.       Researchers
6.       Programme Manager
7.       Set designer
8.       Etc.

PLEASE PASS THE WORD ON far and wide. I couldn’t make out some of the emails that were written. COMPLETELY open, even to other schools.

Look forward to seeing you then.

Cheers
Justin

Meeting session was held today. Sorry for my lateness. Anyways, this is some sort of web TV broadcast production team called the Taylor's News Network. Content goes onto the Taylor's YouTube channel, and hopefully a site of its own if it gets big enough - there's also talk of broadcasting this on the TVs around campus. Available positions and possibly more are listed above.

Added on May 27, 2010, 6:56 pmPardon the double post. It's a free bump.

This may be sort of random, but does anyone know if the lecture theatres at the lakeside campus are open on Saturdays, and for how long? Better yet, does anyone know/remember what LT12 is like (size, stage, lighting, etc.)? <___<

Hello,

Is there any ATM machine available in Taylor's ? I'm going to enroll in Taylor's Business Foundation for July intake smile.gif Any extra tips for me? biggrin.gif

If someone know that there is any twin sharing room available, kindly to inform me yar. I'm willing to share the room too. Thanks^^ Because I found that only single room available for me to stay in Taylor's hostel which cost me RM 760 per month. It's quite expensive for me sad.gif

I also found that there is part-time jobs available in Taylor's. Is that true? smile.gif

Not sure.I would have to check on that. Though the scheme for ACCA professional level is just RM150 it's less than normal programmes.

hey I don't have the fees with me now so I'll get back on that later.
For the date to apply yes you can apply anytime before the intake date of the programme and since it's in July it's still ok after the UPU date.
You can try for the tertiary merit scholarship or something similar though it's best you apply ASAP for scholarship chances.

It's weird that Taylor didn't list out some of their fees in their website..
How do we apply for those scholarship? I cant find any application form for us to download or online application beside World class Scholarship. Can we use STPM result to apply for tertiary merit scholarship and Financial Hardship for July Intake?
thank you..

From what I remember, a lot of tertiary education institutions don't list down the fees on their site, but it'd be helpful if it did. Maybe they think it's bad for business. <__<

Select "I am a" and pick your profile. Also, I'm fairly sure STPM results aren't accepted for the Tertiary Merit Scholarship, but there is a STPM High Achievers' Scholarship.

You would have to go to Taylor's to get the forms for those scholarships
Anyway I've been quite busy nowadays to check the full fees just that from out of my head the full tuition + misc fees should be around RM75k.Got a lot of stuff messed up around me to go and check lol maybe during the open day next week I'll go around the programmes again during lunch break ^^"

It's not weird really for them to not list out their fees on their website. Most IPTS don't list out their fees. For us it would be a bit troublesome to go and ask for the fees and such but I can think of a few good reasons why it's disadvantages for Universities especially like Taylor's to just list out their fees without first being able to present about the stuffs they have to offer to prospective students. It's really bad for marketing XD

Are you taking Diploma or Degree?
hum I'm not sure about your programme but if there is English tests like some other programmes then yeah usually there will be an English test during orientation week, through that test Taylor's will determine your English level and they will put students in class according to their level of English so that they can give the most suitable method according to each classes level of english.
