Almost all the G73JH currently are shipped with 1333 RAM due to shortages of the 1066 RAM and if you were to do your research, you will find that there aren't any significant differences between the two. wink.gif
My advice to you if you're gonna get the G73JH is to check the version properly as there are quite a few versions out there and make sure the specs such as screen resolution, hdd, blu-ray/dvd, targus backpack, rog mouse, and so on and so forth smile.gif
There are many opportunist around trying to sell these without pointing out the difference between each versions . . so BEWARE. Do your research wink.gif

Yeap there are various versions for the G73JH. There are the main ones which are the A1 & A2 and then you have stripped down versions like the BB ones. There are also other versions which I am too lazy to search for now lolz.
But to be safe, just go for either the A1 or A2 version which comes wit the Targus Backpack and Asus ROG mouse. Get them from any reputable US Reseller and with the favorable exchange rate atm, you can get an A2 for RM5.5k or less including shipping wink.gif

Before I had my G73JH-A2, I didn't realise how much difference the screen resolution would make. Now I know why many would rather wait for the A1/A2 then get a BB version in the states smile.gif

No need to be sorry. I am just pointing out that there have been direct comparisons made by owners of the G73JH who has the 1333 and 1066 RAM and the results are pretty interesting . . especially for someone like you who are into RAMs smile.gif

It's interesting to find out why we are paying so much at retail shops for IT equipment whereby the govn does not tax them.. i meant in general sense.. smile.gif

Found a link of comparison between A1, A2, X1, X2, X3 @ NBR. The differences are just between blu-ray/dvd, 2hdd/1hdd and whether backpack and mouse are included or not.

Then you have the BB versions of RBBX05 and RBBX09, which has 1600X900 screen resolution (either LG or AUO screen). We also have a TZ008X version in Aus which is same as A1 but with Win 7 Pro and an addition of a gaming headset. Hehe..

Nice one hatshepsut rclxms.gif . saw it before but too lazy to search back over 400+ pages hehe. Anyway the Aussie version . . the price is sweat.gif

Too bad there aren't price summary as well. To me, the BB ones are just not worth it.

So I'm guessing they're the barebone stock with no customization and basic specs?
