Ahh...the thread has fallen silent as Jeffrey and EvilDevil awaits with high anticipation the arrival of their G73JH hehe.
For the new owners or future owners, I found a problem with the upkeep of my laptop. The mesh grill for the speaker area is a magnet for dust/dirt keeping. And it's hell trying to clean them afterwards. I am not so inclined on trying to take it apart yet . . maybe when the dust/dirt becomes too overbearing for my eyes and ears (if they block the speakers)

I've also installed Dirt 2 and played a few games. To my surprise . . it actually is smoother than my desktop.
My desktop rig :
Intel C2D E8400
Asus P5KPL-AM
Kingston PC-6400 DDR2-800 *2
Seagate 1TB HDD
Silverstone ST56F
Asus HD4850 512MB
So for now, you could say I am pretty happy camper

Funny thing it seems like either not many owners are takin part in the forums, or too bz playing with their new laptop ? Last week when I went shopping for lappies, one shop at sunway with big big "ASUS" logo and havin all "ASUS" laptops claim the G51J model is selling for RM 7999. Seriously I wonder how much they will sell it locally later once it is official.

The guy offered me another model not sure if it's G72 or N series he mention RM 9999+ and he added, "I think u won't be buying that as well one"

Forking out RM 7999 I would rather go for M17X edi,

Good news is the G73JH have been shipped out from US, bad news is the M15X I order haven't ship out yet. Hopefully by today they can ship it out as they need further verifications. One is being ship by Fedex another is By USPS.

I got a feeling USPS might deliver 1st.
Btw, G73JH-A2 don't have support for Raid ?

Indeed, I'm really anxious on getting my Asus G73Jh-A2.
As for the mesh grill above the keyboard, have you tried before to vacuum it using the USB powered vacuum or the ordinary household vacuum? I hate to see if there are a lot of dust stuck inside the mesh grill and the current measurement of getting rid of them which I can think of is the USB powered vacuum. Maybe you can try to use one and tell us the result?

I believe this unit will be dust magnet, need to standby long soft brush, mini vacuum to keep the lappie as good as new.
