Can anybody help me to arrange in order the place of where should I start first my itinerary? I mean which place is nearby to which place so that I can do my tour in order

PLACE TO VISIT

* Depart from PR Place in Pratunam

1. Damnoen Saduak Floating Market (I will depart from Bangkok early at 7am in morning since I knew it will take 1 1/2 hr to reach the place)
2. Maeklong Railway Market
3. Samut Prakan Ancient City
4. Wat Arun
5. Visit to Khaosan Road Bangkok

* Reach PR Place Bangkok

PLEASE ANYONE?
*
Go to furthest. Both Market has to be early. So spilt in2 2 days moreover is not hot. Then no 3 (by car or taxi) then 4 & 5 is near can go there by BTS on the same day

Added on February 25, 2011, 12:38 pmChicken Rice Is at Pratunam.Let's say u r at Platinum entrance, walk towards your right then u reach a cross junction. if you go right u will be heading to WTC. but if u head 12 O'clock u will see Pratunam CENTRE across the street, and along there u will lot's of Chicken Rice shop at night. The one that I went was a corner shop...lot's of ppl. But I guess all taste good. I forgot the name

I think floating market & the bridge on the river kwai (Kanchanaburi) has to be split. Different place. Can look for Mama tours to arrange.

After 4 face buddha can go straight to Pratunam

Pratunam Mkt close by 6pm.If u r at Platinum (close by 7pm)mall u can have lunch up at the food court. Nice n a lot of choices. No need waste time.Have it there. Then when u finish shopping go out to have chicken rice at nite.

well, if u r a buddhist no harm paying respect at the 4 face god. I will always do that. Entirely up to you.

Go to Pratunam Mkt in d morning (start at 10am). If u can finish by 1 pm then walk to Platinum and spend the rest of your time here till closed.

And at 7pm, around the Baiyoke sky there's night market till 11pm.Can go around there for massage. FYI, at 5am there's another eearly morning market till 9am (oso infront of baiyoke sky). So if u r staying there, can check it out.

Depends on packages. Half day or 1 day tour..Er...But it's cheapest among all. Anyway, for airport transfer it is not recommended because it has punctuality problem.

Around Erawan Shrine are those high end malls like Gaysorn, n behind the shrine is Hyatt hotel. Branded goods in BKK are more expensive than M'sia.

Yes that Platinium - 6 levels(strictly clothing & accesories) & Pratunam will take u a day d. Well Siam Paragon & WTC r expensive stuff too. Hardly shop there except going to Naraya at WTC . MBK ok. Siam Paragon Supermarket sells high end goods. Alot of Japanese food at the food court n expensive too.

Fr Tango Vibrant just walk across the main road u will reach Pratunam area d & Indira Square

And from Tango Vibrant walk to main road where u can see across the road PR Place hotel towards your right not far from that hotel got a shop sells beef noodle.I personally love it. U can mix every thing or anything u dun wan , just point and say "mai ao"

Food court - platinum & Central Chidlom

Yes approximately half day to cover both plus travelling

Mama tour, Wat Pho, Grand palace are located nearby Khaosan road (walking distance) a place where most of the backpackers stay.

siam niramit show. Anyone here went there before? Can suggest reliable tour agent for this show?

I planning to go China Town during my 1st place there.

Just wondering, if i take BTS to Hua Lamphong station then how to go from there? issit far from the station.

Or we should just take cab there?

Btw anyone recently used their Airport Link? i still havent decide to take cab or airport link...

If i have one big luggage bag and maybe 2 hand carry, will it be inconvenience to take the airport link. My stop will be Ratchaprop.

Going back i 100% will take cab..

Take tuktuk from Hua Lamphong station . Approx 30THB. Or else if u knw the way.U can try to walk.

Dunno where u r heading to from Ratcaprarop station? If Pratunam area by Taxi will cost less than 350THB. Airport rail link 40THB from the last time I heard fr tis forum. Can u chuck one of yr hand carry in2 yr luggage n filled with yr luggage stuff inside as well. With that u will have less things to carry.
