Thanks Charge and Aaron for letting me testride a modded and stock LC. These bikes can really feel the oomph just by opening the throttle slightly. Took me a while getting used to... not to mention the gearing and the higher riding position. Engine definitely quieter.
Btw, how much fuel you all used after the ride? My bike sure walloped a lot... I think something like half tank, ~4 ringgit already. Especially after the detour I took with Charge, today go petrol station refill 7.50 ringgit liao. |

QUOTE(Itsuki_Kun @ May 24 2010, 11:40 PM) but then right.. last week's TT.. i heard from charge and alexei talking.. charge said 4t bike does not need more gear to operate.. or i read from other place i think.. forgot d.. they say 4t bike does not need more gears cause it can operate in low rpm.. but for 2t bike.. more gears is needed... cause it needs higher rpm to operate... for clearer view.. try to use 4th gear in lc to move from rest.. and then u try to use 6th gear in 125z and then start to move it.. see which bike really moves.. LOL.. so if HLY really comes out this 6th gearing system for lc clutch... then i bet its a really faster and better acceleration bike.. I see.. if try use top gear move.. sure LC own la.. because when 125z slow down.. and the gear need to follow go down to.. =/ otherwise it don't have "energy" to pull it up.. Now I'm still thinking what bike to buy..? Y125ZR or 135LC ? I like to play 6 gear bike.. Now HLY there post YLagenda115Z coming soon.. I think still got a long long time to post 6 gear LC... ~.~

Interesting rumor this one... Would like to see Yamaha make something on par with Suzuki Belang. I imagine Suzuki had the FX series for dunno how many years already loh... 4-stroke performance bikes.
FZ150 or the LC135... six gear full disc-brakes please. Something for the Yamaha fans to brag against Honda CBR\Suzuki Shogun\Belang-R.... In short, for riding performance, 6 gear better than 4. For reliability and maintenance, having the same amount of space, 4 gear is better than 6. Added on May 25, 2010, 12:11 amItsuki, you got bike now? Next time Penang TT join lah? I left about 1/4 tank at the end of TT, but after full throttling with alexei, the fuel immediately drop 1/8 total usage is 2.9L (RM6.xx) Added on May 25, 2010, 12:07 pm QUOTE(ghost.lordz @ May 24 2010, 11:22 PM) thanks mate.QUOTE(8zelk8 @ May 24 2010, 10:53 PM) oh yeah totally 4get about the bike tht aaron & charge for letting as well riding the bike its kinda an seconds of joy after throttle slightly. we are waiting for your super EX5 modification.as the fuel 4 my ex5 will be total rm7. 3rm was the 1 i pump be4 go 4 the tt and the rm4 was when we went back from bee hock. for 4-strokers, we shall focus more on mid-range torque instead of top end power. This is where 4-stroker shines over 2-stroker. If the midrange is powerful enough, the cornering can become shift-less, as in any of your gears also got enough power for you to pull over corners. You spend less time to play with shifting, and thus improve overall speed. This post has been edited by charge-n-go: May 25 2010, 12:07 PM |
