for the no.2
how to set both setting in a time? i only see can row the front botton by set 1 setting only neh =/ aperture and shutter speed how to set it both in the same time? =.=" the camera is on my gf there, she always use P or auto only  sweat.gif  and both of us still learning how to using it  sweat.gif

Added on February 22, 2010, 11:05 amsometimes i put something small infront of the table but the camera cant even focus it... need to pull the camera far abit only can focus... and the sky aso cant focus...

dude u really need to go thru ur manual again..it might b bored to read thru the whole book...but since u having issue with Av Pv M modes..just read the particular sections..it shd b easy enough to understand..at least the question in bold should be easily found in manual mode section..

for ur 2nd question..try what guoki said...try to understand the exposure triangle(iso/aperture/shutter speed)...the near/far issue was due to MFD..every lens has it own minimum distance to focus..if u wanna go nearer than that(without buying new lens)..u can try close up filter/raynox.....cant focus on sky??well..thats user issue tongue.gif and i thought lwliam just answered this question in his No.4 ?

p/s : btw..u can stil shoot if ur camera not focused..go to menu..change the priority to "release"..instead of "AF"

for me (not speaking for others smile.gif ) personally the fixed/non tilting LCD is a deal breaker for me. I guess I soo used to using the tilting LCD on A550  tongue.gif
*
haha..when u found the right camera..u'll learn to deal with it....imagine i dont even have liveview on my a850..not to mention tilt lcd or wadever.. =p

back on my a300 days..i almost use liveview n the tilt lcd function on 70~80% of my shots...

very vintage looked (especially the red color) =D just I feel the vignetting was a little too much =/

i purposely put a strong vignette there first to center the attention to her..second i was hoping to cover the rubbish bin at the side as much as possible..lol..

the konica minolta 17-35 f2.8-4 is very sharp wide open, light (not as heavy as the CZ2470, i think it's half the weight but of cos the build is normal plastic). Optical wise I think it's a very good ultra wide angle lens for its price.

u interested also huh..lol
