... I mean, When i use Munual Focus, my picture will always become blur... Mayb my hand shake make the camera shake.
*
u shooting in macro or shallow DoF ?? usually small shaking by our hand(motion blur) shd be caused by slow shutter..so nomatter u AF/MF..slow shutter is still slow shutter..it wont change....unless ur blur = out of focus??

maybe u shd post a "blur" shot here so that we can understand better..

for street photography ... single shot was good to go for me =/ as you can adjust your dial and setting correctly and then shot rather than spam shooting ?

continuous shooting I found much using on some event like having some action scene or sports
*
but again..even with continuous..u stil can shoot 1 shot at a time ma....so if u feel there is a need..just hold ur finger longer..if not just let go lo...right?

@lugiamcg
thanks

Thanks for sharing your experience achew & wingster.

I feel that Im at this junction of keeping to the old school culture of "always shooting in single mode" (and not filling up my MemoryStick quickly) and being more courageous and explore "multiple/continuous shots" style...  unsure.gif

Ive tried shooting kids... and somehow Im not getting the desired expression/attitude/pose that I usually see from others beautiful photos.  unsure.gif  sad.gif
*
actually i disagree to shoot like a machine gun and hopefully u get 1 usable shot...but sometimes 2-3 shots is okay....as long as u know what u r doing..1 shoot 1 kill or let it burst few more shots when required...

on the memory part..well the available shots left is always displayed on the screen..we can always adjust according..or even delete few when u feel that if u continue at that rate..ur memory gonna explode soon....

Ok thx, Found the the change the output...
If i am using Munual exposure all type of flashes are suit?
*
if u intend to play with lighting...manual sounds easier for me...if u only wan a "normal" nicely exposed shot..use AP shd b good enough..maybe with some EV or exposure lock..

i think it'd b easier for u to understand the exposure trio and familiar with the function with ur camera first b4 u start exploring in flash..

yeah you're right should increase the DOF ....

the background actually I just put beside my monitor (wanted to try the style where the monitor lights falls on the gundam there) >.< so you can see there's a speaker there XD
*
excuse excuse...im sure u could move the speaker away right..if not take out your monitor and place at somewhere empty to shoot....

if u don mind..i'll comment a lil bit more...other than your subject..try to look around the frame..not only object..what about shadows?placing/avoiding shadows should be take note also..and since your model is black..try not keep the background too dark too..unless u able to light it up nicely while keep the low key background dark.

maybe could do something on the..whats that call ah??the transparent support thingy..

im sure u can figure out whats the source of the shadow right??if it helps to enhance your shot..then its good lo..maybe can try to position your shadow by either adjusting the light source..or the object itself....similarly..if the shadow was not in your plan and it doesnt make the shot better..u can try remove it.....

if u need low key shot...try to buy those non reflective big black card..its not huge enough for human portrait..but for product/ figurine..its more than enough..
