i've just bought the 250GB version from sony today. i believe thats the largest size they hav.
dont think they still hav 120GB tho

if not mistaken 120GB & 320GB is only available for phat version.the new slim version only available in 160GB & 250GB

Planning to get a ps3 system soon. Wondering how reliable is the ps3 hardware. Is the system prone to hardware failure and would need repairs from time to time? What is the typical life span of a new system?

Still not sure whether to go for singapore sets or local sony units. Any recommendations?

better get local unit coz easy to claim warranty if problem occur.so far slim version got no probs.

i planing to search Oblivion at the gameshop,after asking some question to the seller,he show me Kane & Lynch 2:dog day Limited Edition(R2).So i change my mind and bought the K&L2:dog day Limited Ed.

after arrive home,i unboxing everything and i saw the exclusive downloadable content code then i login my psn account >go to P.S Shop>Redeem code.After input the code and continue.There a window pop up say"ur code maybe incorrect or is no longer valid".

what should i do?.the damn code not working...when i bought it,its still seal like new.sorry if i type the word wrong

Let's say i'm getting a SG, and the hardware fails later on after the warranty period, can i then send my SG unit to sony MY later on, like any other sony appliances? Since for MY sets, parts would also be chargeable after warranty period then. Pls correct me if i'm wrong.

If its repair after the warranty period I think it should be ok but you need to check with Sony Malaysia about it. But if it's warranty claim then you'd have to go back to Singapore to get it.

afaik after warranty period shouldn't be a problem since they can charge us but the main problem is under warranty since u got to send it by to SG
