Is it possible to create a backup image of PS3 hdd and clone it to another bigger capacity hdd?

Or maybe just create a backup image, for backup purposes.

I'm currently in the US and I'm contemplating buying a US PS3 slim, is there anything that I should know about different power inputs/outputs between countries when I bring it back to Malaysia. Also, I spend a lot of time in Australia, so would there be any problems there as well?

The power supply is universal, and US and Malaysia are in the same region for bluray. However, the bluray region with Austrailia is different. So you cant buy movie in Aus and use your PS3 to watch. Games wise... all games are region free.

Dvd region is different though

is it ok to leave the power on, but off the ps3?

Eg. swtich On power, but didnt switch on Astro.

That means the light is red light.

Will it affect ps3?

i lazy go behind tv to off the switch

When i off the PS3, i make sure the power switch is off also..

Wanna ask when using a Y-Splitter does it affect the sound quality?

Guys why are R3 games cheaper than R1 and R2?

There is a lot of pages to go thru and i felt asking would be quicker.

Probably due to the exchange rate. If you're buying R1, you're buying from a US distributor, which simply means, you're paying USD for the game, don't forget about the shipping cost as well, since we are buying an imported product.

There still aren't many games out there that are in 1080p. 90% of all the games are still 720p regardless of the region.
