so which is good?

silverstone > goodyear

or

goodyear > silverstone

or

same same?
*
silverstone or gy ducaro, both are sux big time. both doesn't offer much grip overall. the stock tires caused the steering vibrate so much at 120km/h.
done alignment at pesc. same problem. swap with c.drive and problem gone.
although i don't drive it very often, but i found the spring vibrating sound from the inside of steering column is very irritating. proton can do nothing
about it. sweat.gif anyone of you guys solved the steering's spring vibration sound yet?
look like the car is in for a momo soon.

I think ppl tends to buy car at the beginning of the year, that's why too many demands...i bought mine on last year September, that time i saw in this forum many of them get the car within a month... hmm.gif

For M-line model, no solution yet becos u can't open the plate due to airbag. For my B-line, i just add sponge in between the spring area and solve easily, no more those vibration noise even u hit the hole.

mine was caused by the tires. i send the car for 1st service at 1.2k km mileage and inform pesc ppl in desa tun razak about the problem. they did a balancing and wheels alignment. but once i drove the car back home,
same problem still happened. call them and they ask me to come back on 2nd service interval which is due on 6k mileage. swap with friend's 15" set and problem gone!
before you proceed to change the whole set, you may send to pesc within the first 3 free labour charge service to avoid paying for unnecessary cost.
my sister's friend who drive a b-line saga blm vibrating even worst at 120km/h!

Darn it !! Yesterday when I was waiting for the traffic light @ Jalan Bukit Bintang (In front of Times Square) .. a motorcycle was twisting left - right around the space in between cars to pass through. And suddenly Bang ! the motorcycle head crash into my side door and leaves a long scratch along the both side doors.

Anything can help to clean up those marks ? *Black scars* .. blink.gif

yeap, same here, driving m-line. its better if u switch the tyre, but im switching mine when its worn out. The tyres seriously have no grip during rain, so imagine if ur driving on the NS highway during a heavy rain, its like slip and sliding on the road! shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

hmm...mine at 1st i think no problem...never do balancing before
but now at 40k+ already....
110-115KM/H won't shack at all...only abit
but once reach 120KM/H...will shack very badly
so i think is balancing problem...will take the car go do balancing this thursday
see if it solves the problem....plus 2 year didn't do balancing...only do front alignment
later see that guy cn do rear alignment or not

@HughieRmX@
is it a deep scratch that affect the paint as well or just a black mark?
you can try polishing using soft 99 polisher. it works fine on minor scratch and paint mark.

@MR_alien@
in your case, could be wheel balancing / alignment problem.
but mine one caused by the tires. btw, even though i seldom drive the saga blm, am very particular abut tires cuz' the tires determined the amount of grip / traction the car has!

u can try meguairs scratchx if its not that deep..works very well but u have to rub it quite hard couple of times to get it off. if after couple of times it doesnt work, means u need to repaint that portion with touch up paint.
