i can feel my car swaying when drive at 60kmh and below..i go check with proton sc but they only balancing my tyre..my car feel still the same doh.gif ..next day i go check with workshop near my house and they show me that all my tyre surface not balance.. they are the one me that i can claim with silverstone new one..coz still new only travel for 3000km..

proton sc know nothing doh.gif ..dunno can claim or not! and tell me to go check with silverstone myself blink.gif .. have to do it all by myself..haihh rclxub.gif
mine also M-Line..maybe 2010 pruduction use silverstone tyre...silverstone better than goodyear?
*
like this also can ah....go ourselves also have....that SC is very bad

so which is good?

silverstone > goodyear

or

goodyear > silverstone

or

same same?
*
i think every tyre brand is good
it's just some series of tyre in a brand is bad only
the cheaper the worst
and original tyres that are given to us always is cheap and bad tyre
if wan good ones...go and change another type...it has no connection with brand

silverstone  or gy ducaro, both are sux big time. both doesn't offer much grip overall. the stock tires caused the steering vibrate so much at 120km/h.
done alignment at pesc. same problem. swap with c.drive and problem gone.
although i don't drive it very often, but i found the spring vibrating sound from the inside of steering column is very irritating. proton can do nothing
about it.  sweat.gif  anyone of you guys solved the steering's spring vibration sound yet?
look like the car is in for a momo soon.
*
want to ask anyone here
steering vibration at 120KM/H....really becuz of the tyre ..not balancing problem?

QUOTE(yngwie @ Mar 7 2010, 02:00 PM)
mine was caused by the tires. i send the car for 1st service at 1.2k km mileage and inform pesc ppl in desa tun razak about the problem. they did a balancing and wheels alignment. but once i drove the car back home,
same problem still happened. call them and they ask me to come back on 2nd service interval which is due on 6k mileage. swap with friend's 15" set and problem gone!
before you proceed to change the whole set, you may send to pesc within the first 3 free labour charge service to avoid paying for unnecessary cost.
my sister's friend who drive a b-line saga blm vibrating even worst at 120km/h!
*
hmm...mine at 1st i think no problem...never do balancing before
but now at 40k+ already....
110-115KM/H won't shack at all...only abit
but once reach 120KM/H...will shack very badly
so i think is balancing problem...will take the car go do balancing this thursday
see if it solves the problem....plus 2 year didn't do balancing...only do front alignment
later see that guy cn do rear alignment or not

yeap, same here, driving m-line. its better if u switch the tyre, but im switching mine when its worn out. The tyres seriously have no grip during rain, so imagine if ur driving on the NS highway during a heavy rain, its like slip and sliding on the road! shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif
*
hmm...mine doesn't have any problem in rain
but it's bad when have cross wind...if the wind is wrong....the car will go to the right or left

Just wondering. By smoking the headlamps, will it reduce visibility of lighting on the road?
*
increase abit
imagine lights ON in a bright room and in a dark room
which one make the light brighter??...the dark room of course
more or less is same..but smoked is cooler

want to ask those that did rear alignment
just now go ask if a guy can do it.....and he found is left rear and say have to insert steel clip thingy
is it have to dismantle the brake and put in a steel clip lookalike thingy into it?
that steel thing is small...but he charged me RM10 each
my front also abit off
so RM40 alignment + rear RM20....is it worthed?

QUOTE(smokey @ Mar 11 2010, 05:01 PM)
the steel clip is something like spacer between ur drum brake casing and rim...i forgot what it is called but last time i googled for it before...
rear rm20 cheap ma...go do it and tell us the result...hehe...must get the readings from the alignment computer...best if print out before and after results...
*
ya...the clip have a deep space in the middle...he showed me..look like half the "fork"
ya...RM20 for rear + RM40 alignment.....front left also run away abit already
ya...cuz not many ppl can do rear...so i ask him to try and shoot 1st
as expected ...rear left is way over....left is like 1.8X degree....right is 1.5X degree
unfortunately...i didn't do it cuz he say need to wait until noon only finish....maybe he never do it before...so takes alot of time...need to dismantle everything on the rear left
so ...i'll find another day and go do it when i got time
so just now do balancing only.....RM20 also.....near to straight already

Hello, is  Saga BLM auto really no power when pickup?

i'm looking forward for my new car but since i drive to KL to work.. auto is preferable in jam condition
*
haha...if no power thn won't move loh
ppl say it's underpower becuz of the aircon
the aircon takes away few HP from the engine
without aircon...the car is pretty powerful
it's just abit underpower only but it's worthed since the aircon is super cold

The acceleration is painfully slowwwwww for Saga blm auto transmission. You need to really floor the throttle kaw kaw for the car to pickup from a standstill.

Saga BLM manual, obviously, is faster.
*
for me...no need...only sometime
2k-2.4k RPM will do
cold start also like that

i thought they're putting the space inside the drum brake but in fact they're putting it at the back of the drum brake...weird
but i looks straight afterward
will test it a few more times see if it's straight cuz roads in sabah is not very even

I remember driving on the way to Penang and after gunung something, my light came on but there was no more petrol station!
then i drove like 80-90 all the way until I reach near Penang got one petrol station and pump. about 100km with the light on! damn scary~
it was my first time i reach 400km+ for full tank  thumbup.gif
*
85-90KM/H is the best fuel efficient speed
400 is not impossible

my updated FC = now is RM10 = less/around90KM

try 100% highway  biggrin.gif

no 100% highway here in sabah.....
our only "highway" is a road long and without traffic light......
and the road is not as straight as KL's one as well...road also uneven

Is the BLM really that noisy?
*
no..it's not comparing with myvi with full soundproof while saga have none at all (only the floor)
but when going on rough road...it's abit noisy
by installing soundproof...it's way better than myvi with original full soundproof
