QUOTE(ivanau88 @ May 11 2010, 09:00 AM) anybody here experienced with noises from the engine? I suspect it came from the compressor belt. And whenever I drive my car, sound came out from my wheel as well. I first suspected my is brake pad finish but the mechanic said my pad will last for quite some time more. mid2008 car ivan, just upgrade to ceramic pad, big difference. btw, my belting also got sound already, now only 40k...it should due at 80k..but i guess premature failure, not really a failure but just making noises Added on May 11, 2010, 7:17 pm QUOTE(Invader Zim @ May 11 2010, 06:53 PM) guys, what is the most suitable gear for automatic car to climb the road to cameron highlands? ^ if u drive manual, 90kmh is 3k rpm and 120kmh is 4k rpm...
4k rpm is very noisy...imagine long distance all the way 120kmh...and BLM is bare metal only...no soudnproof at all... Added on May 11, 2010, 9:37 pm*i think auto version is 3k at 100kmh rite...i drove auto before...120kmh not very noisy... This post has been edited by smokey: May 11 2010, 09:37 PM |

anyone face some weird sound when go > 140km per hour? my car when over 140kmh sure got some weird sound, dunno is coming from engine or tyres..sounds like something loose about to come out. if less than that or 140k itself ok no problem.

Hi guys!
New owner here. Just got it today. Silver, M line, Manual. So far so good. Just got a scratch on the tint at the back door and small scratch on the left fender. Left back door can't close properly. Need to slam harder. =.='' Overall quality wise...u get what u pay for... Kinda weird driving this manual than others...don't now how to explain but feels odd. Got a couple of questions: 1) It is kind of hard to get into second gear. Anyone got this problem before? 2) What psi/kpa should i pump the tire? I went to pump just now, the original pressure was 250kpa for front and back..then i check the car back seat, it states front 210kpa, back 190kpa. Tried following the stated car pressure...saw the tire started to flatten...then pump back 245....haha Hope u guys can help me on these. thanks. |

The front will always look flatten due to engine weight (damn heavy), high profile tyre and small rim(185/60/R14), so don pump based on what u saw, for rear 200~210 should be ok. noisy as in the insulation for noise is lousy.no firewall insulation, so direct engine noise pollution into the cabin, also the fenders too, too lil proofing there..basically its a basic ride with basic price. however, compare to an old iswara, it is somewhat better in terms of comfort through the interior and nice looking exterior. weisern 1) duno how to answer 2) follow instruction. previously 245 coz the SA dun have those time to pump for u if ur car is going to be left at the parking slot for weeks and months.if u wanna have a better grip, follow the instruction. |

@weisern, what free gifts did you get from your dealer?
Added on May 11, 2010, 10:48 pm QUOTE(MR_alien @ May 11 2010, 10:43 PM) no..it's not comparing with myvi with full soundproof while saga have none at all (only the floor) but when going on rough road...it's abit noisy by installing soundproof...it's way better than myvi with original full soundproof QUOTE(SiuYi @ May 11 2010, 10:44 PM) max_cjs0101 I see.
