hi. today evening my car had some problem which is i cant start the car. When I try to start the car, the RPM meter will go to 8k RPM. called 24 hours assist, they said that my sensor rosak. My car only run 18,000KM mileage and already got this problem. My question, is my sensor under warranty item? and does it take long for them to replace a new one?

when i start my engine.. the indicator go up fast but the highest bar seems a bit longer to lit..
i drive about 30km only.. already drop 1 bar.. is tat normal?

So currently is your car still functioning ? Sensor spoilt ? .. Not sure whether its under warranty or not but I suggest you drive to the nearest SC to fix things up.

This sensor thing, is it the ECU they r talking about?

I think when the warning light first come up, you wait awhile, then it will disappear. Second time then only you pump..

Wow..thats kinda low. mine 1st bar around 60-80. 2nd gonna be around 150-200. depends on the city/highway ratio. the empty warning light glows kinda early since fill-up around 50+ @ 30+ L only. our tank should be 40L right?

About 'full tank', different petrol station will give you different 'full tank' level, it depends on the nozzle itself.

For my car, when the nozzle auto stop, my 1st bar can last 70-80km. But if i pump until i can see the fuel nearly flow out, my 1st bar can last for 100-110km. So don't judge ur FC based on the fuel gauge unless u fill up like me, FULL.

When the warning light is out, ur fuel tank still got 10+L fuel left, i normally will keep going 60-80km before i refuel.

aik my first 3 bar takes me to 200km then the last few bars drop very dramatic one.. like until 280 lights on d.. but if i keep driving on, the light will off and on again like few km later.. weird @.@

Not weird, because petrol is fluid, it depends ur car position.

Let say at 10cm the warning light will out, >10cm is last bar display on fuel gauge, so if ur car is moving or going uphill/downhill, the petrol will move inside the fuel tank as well, so when the fuel level is flow between 10cm and >10cm, the warning light will on and off.

Not to say the warning light, even sometimes the 1st bar is gone, it will came back after few KM later.
