the only way to check is to completely copy the whole data on your card and paste it into another card and put it in your phone and see if you can see all the picture and movie file, if can that mean your existing card "might" be spoilt.

didn't hack my tube yet maybe due to my don't have GUTS (ha3).

but i try to understand the information around to make myself confident to manual flash.

anyone can guide me step by step event there is video guide on FP2? still not understand on the technical part.

if i didn't flash yet, could i just manual format with this method by XM?

just wanna ask u guy....my tube...after upgraded to v40 firmware...when i go to gallery > image file..i cant see anything in there...but when i go to file manger > d: memory card > image file> i can see all my picture file in it...before upgrading my firmware from v.30, everything works fine....any solution guys?

i also experience this pic on gallery gone,video at realplayer disappear and song not listed sad.gif

the only way to sloved this is delete some file on private flder (after restart it happen again,ithink soo) or hardformat ur phone

v40 still unstable

if i seldom use gps/3g..
should i buy 5530 or paying extra bucks to get the tube?

how was the loudspeaker/earpiece compared from both phone?

in term of built in memory in the phone...
can i install applications to a memory card instead of the phone?

i'm new to symbian...
i need your guidance...

go for 5800. i myself also seldom use 3g, but at least gps we get to play wit it
i dont c the worthness of buying 5530 xD

did u do a backup? if yes den u shud format ur memory kad. if u doubt it is ur memori kad prob, try open other memory card on ur tube to c whether d phone or memori kad prob, u get wad i mean?

Just get 5800. It is worth it. It is just an extra of about 100-150 bucks. If you have the extra bucks, go for it. nod.gif

About the loudspeaker, since i have tried 5530, i would say that 5800 loudspeaker is louder and better compared to 5530. nod.gif

Yes, you can install applications to the memory card, but according to Xploit Machine, it is better if you install your applications to the phone memory instead of the memory card.

Phone memory > Applications
Memory card > Your data. nod.gif

xm... referring to your guide on how to prevent credit draining issue - if i were to delete ALL streaming profile & just leave 'wifi' for internet access point, wouldn't that affect a-gps? as we know, a-gps uses telco service, right? after i deleted as what advised before & go to 'positioning > positioning server', 'access point' shows 'must be defined'. i believe if i were to use a-gps, i MUST NOT delete all the telco's streaming profile. need you view on this... hmm.gif hmm.gif

Hi Guys,

I want to ask

1. Mention on page one can change fonts but what about the font size. I don't like to words displayed on the sms coz it's very small unlike other phones eg. samsung where their sms display is much bigger. (Getting Old)

2. Can I do recording for lectures. How long can it go on for ?

I'm planning to buy this phone but bcoz for the above still hanging on or looking for other models. Hope to get some help.
