QUOTE(medichloreans @ Feb 21 2010, 02:50 AM)
hi guys..
i need an opinion...
if i seldom use gps/3g..
should i buy 5530 or paying extra bucks to get the tube?

how was the loudspeaker/earpiece compared from both phone?

in term of built in memory in the phone...
can i install applications to a memory card instead of the phone?

i'm new to symbian...
i need your guidance...

regards.

Just get 5800. It is worth it. It is just an extra of about 100-150 bucks. If you have the extra bucks, go for it. nod.gif

About the loudspeaker, since i have tried 5530, i would say that 5800 loudspeaker is louder and better compared to 5530. nod.gif

Yes, you can install applications to the memory card, but according to Xploit Machine, it is better if you install your applications to the phone memory instead of the memory card.

Phone memory > Applications
Memory card > Your data. nod.gif

if u bluetooth, the file arrives as message first n stored temporarily into phone memory, there for u cannot bluetooth large files, better use cable  nod.gif
- do the guided setting and create E:\Sys\Cache
- delete permanently the C:\Sys\Cache
- restart fone

once u start browse nokia's native browser, u can see att the folders created in E and not C  nod.gif

Xploit. i need you help in flashing my phone. icon_question.gif

I have downloaded all the necessary files to flash my phone but I'm having some problems on installing Phoenix Service Suite 2009. When i want to install Phoenix Service Suite, I'm getting this error message.

I have tried installing JAF to but it is a failure. After downloading the JAF from the second page, when opening, it seems that there is a trojan virus that was detected from my AVG.

I hope you can help me on flashing my phone.

Thank you. blush.gif

Added on February 22, 2010, 9:36 pmEverthing else is complete but the only problem I'm facing right now is to install either JAF/Phoenix Service Suite that is making me pening.

XM,have a look at this screenshot. Why is JAF is looking in a different path? Shouldn't JAF be looking in \DataPackage\Products\RM-356 ?

Why is the path only at \DataPackage\Products\\ ? doh.gif

I think there's something wrong with JAF. Stupiak JAF. doh.gif

Reinstall? Meaning? Reinstall the cracked version? It seems that the JAF that i downloaded from FP has some problems. Do you have any other JAF rather than the FP? Or you have a cracked one? Hehe.

I did:

-Remove PC Suite with PCSuite Cleaner
-Remove JAF
-Restart
-Reinstall PC Suite
-Reinstall JAF
-Restart
-Plugged in phone, hardware installation success, phone CAN connect
-Copy FW files into:
              -C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-356
              -C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\
              -C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\DataPackage\Products\RM-356
-Ticked Manual Flash (Nothing happen in the log, but got one blank space appear)
-Ticked Dead USB
-Unticked CRT308
-Ticked use INI

Still, nothing in the list.... where did i go wrong? I'm on WinXP SP3, antivirus disabled, Phoenix not installed..
*
Same goes to me. Xploit, i have tried the method that u post a few pages back, like the above, but still the list is empty. doh.gif

QUOTE(JustinLFJ @ Feb 27 2010, 11:58 PM)
You know...the paths are tricky...

Some are: C:/Program Files/Nokia/Phoenix/DataPackage/Products/RM-356/
                C:/Program Files/Nokia/Phoenix/Data Package/Products/RM-356/
                C:/Program Files/Nokia/Phoenix/Products/RM-356/
                C:/Program Files/Nokia/Phoenix/Product/RM-356/

rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  Which one? The one with the space? The one with the S? the one without DataPackage folder??  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
*
Even if you copy the files in all the path that you mention, JAF is looking in a different path. See below.
user posted image

Even if i copy in the path that is what the JAF is looking in, the list is still empty. doh.gif

Uploading  brows.gif  Make sure disable antivirus first, this one you should know icon_idea.gif Run the PKEY Emuator v3, and Hit GO, then JAF will run, ignore the Error box, press ok, and then start your flashing procedure.. Uploading now 50% done... Check inbox for incoming message  laugh.gif
