the gear lever on DFGT is not the gated 'H' shifter - you just pull down to shift up, push down to shift down - so it doesnt really matter. I sometimes use my pinky to shift gear.

the thought of upgrading been in my mind, particularly the superior G25/G27 pedals - which i can use my left foot to brake. Peeps in my league (Malaysian Sim Racers league - check it out at www.malaysiansimracers.com) who upgraded from Momo to G25/G27 usually they became faster by 1-2 secs.

and what I ordered from amazon is not a wheel  brows.gif  brows.gif

Does the DFGT have the adjustable FFB function like the DFP? There's no button shortcut to adjust the FFB on the steering wheel on G25,right? My G25 FFB feels kinda "soft" compared with my previous DFP.

the thing is- if you use it on the PC, you can assign to reset FFB to the buttons on the wheel.

The strength of the FFB is adjustable by software - so if the game you are playing supports it- you can adjust the FFB

Yes, you can adjust the FFB - its been there since GT4 Prologue (IINM).

imho, you cant say prologue support G25 functions fully - since the clutch function is not officially supported in the game.

U should try it. Previously found it in GT Planet. I'll try to look if I can find the exact button combination. What I can confirm is it works on DFP only. Not sure about DFGT.

Found it on a 2004 DFP thread in gtplanet thumbup.gif

Driving Force Pro Options
- 900 Degree Mode:
SELECT + R3 + RIGHT PADDLE

- 100% Force Feedback mode:
SELECT + R3 + LEFT PADDLE

- Repeat the process to go back to the standard modes.
It says there it works on any game on PS2/PS3. Hmm.. I wonder will it still works if we "force" some game to run on 900 deg on DFP even the game itself does not supports it (grid etc). Never had the chance to try it before. hmm.gif

still thinking to get DFGT or G25/G27 ... personally i dont think im skilled enough to handle clutch + H shift ... so my main concern when buying a wheel is the FFB & response... so any sifus here can give me a short summary of the wheels? tq

Hmm, i'm wondering if it will be possible to control the car nicely like the old GT's with the DS3 ?

Or must it require a wheel no matter what to achieve control of the car?

Advise is appreciated as I myself have been using the DS3 to play all racing games without a problem . ( excluding GT5P , havent tried it yet sad.gif)
