You wanted a bokeh shot?Focus on the leaves while the background is blur?

Use a bigger aperture like F2.8 or so and increasing the shutter speed smile.gif If underexposed, pump up your ISO brows.gif

Maybe it's kit lens zoom maxed out.
So max aperture is F5.6. Kesian la sikit.
