this doesn't really belong here since it was taken via a crappy mobile phone, but the sunset yesterday evening was fabulous (or so i thought...)

wow... those two flies reminds me of a pic i took a couple of years back. not with any fancy camera, just happened to chance upon it..
![]() Camera: Canon Digital IXUS 75 Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/320) Aperture: f/2.8 Focal Length: 5.8 mm ISO Speed: 80 Exposure Bias: -1 EV and spotted from yesterday evening.. only had an iphone, but i had to take a pic anyway (was much too beautiful to not take a picture!). edited with PS mobile and tilt shift generator for iphone: ![]() Camera: Apple iPhone Exposure: 0.059 sec (1/17) Aperture: f/2.8 Focal Length: 4.0 mm ISO Speed: ISO-578 Exposure Bias: - |

qhaireelz: i think if that pic were blown up, it would make a great attempt at tilt-shifting...

DJFoo000: thank you for your kind words. i too think of the rules as a guideline; one that should be met closely, but not necessarily followed 100%.
i myself have a very good idea of what a "typical" camera phone picture is like, and i thought some of the pics i managed were not half as bad. anyway, i see they've been removed; perhaps i'll take a cue and see what happens if i miss the EXIF data next time. |

at higher ISO speeds, the pic tends to turn out a little bit grainy.
here's a shot with the longest shutter speed: ![]() Camera: Canon PowerShot G10 Exposure: 15 (max) Aperture: f/8.0 (max) Focal Length: 6.1 mm ISO Speed: 80 Exposure Bias: +2 EV somehow, i can't seem to achieve the sort of clarity i want (i.e. the words end up a bit blurry). is there a way to re-mediate this? |
