this doesn't really belong here since it was taken via a crappy mobile phone, but the sunset yesterday evening was fabulous (or so i thought...)

qhaireelz: i think if that pic were blown up, it would make a great attempt at tilt-shifting...

DJFoo000: thank you for your kind words. i too think of the rules as a guideline; one that should be met closely, but not necessarily followed 100%.

i myself have a very good idea of what a "typical" camera phone picture is like, and i thought some of the pics i managed were not half as bad.

anyway, i see they've been removed; perhaps i'll take a cue and see what happens if i miss the EXIF data next time.

at higher ISO speeds, the pic tends to turn out a little bit grainy.

here's a shot with the longest shutter speed:

Camera: Canon PowerShot G10
Exposure: 15 (max)
Aperture: f/8.0 (max)
Focal Length: 6.1 mm
ISO Speed: 80
Exposure Bias: +2 EV

somehow, i can't seem to achieve the sort of clarity i want (i.e. the words end up a bit blurry). is there a way to re-mediate this?
