QUOTE(achew @ Apr 22 2010, 12:24 AM) guess not alot ppl tried coz need to have the rig...anyway..i have something a lil bit similar to urs..lol.. Definitely the look I'm looking for. It's with a rig too, right? I am horrified by the need to photoshop with that kind of mounting (where the pole is visible). QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ Apr 21 2010, 10:13 PM) lol. It's shot with an auto rig, sort of. I rigged my camera on the outside of the car and took a shot while the car is moving. Saw this on a forum somewhere else. where did u bought the rig? is it expensive? OH YES! That's the prob: composition! It's rigged rigid and I was hoping to get some insights from those who did it before. |

no no. You can build it by yourselves with your creativity. The ones as suggested by the pros (Here) are ones that involve industry grade suction cups or magnets, aluminum tubing and a ball head. The one I built is a normal paint extender tube thing with my tripod head attached. It goes through my rear windows. Pole secured with the read seat belts.
Pics here Am gonna find different ways to install my rig. This post has been edited by DJFoo000: Apr 22 2010, 03:54 PM |

haha i took close to 100 shots within 1 hour and only like 10 of them turned out decently without vibration (the resize helped mask the vibrations a bit though). The key is not to jolt the rig. Meaning only touch the brake before and after the exposure (of coz safety first and brake when you're about to collide with something, life > shots). Literally at 0 kmph or whatever reading it is when you put to 'D' and not touch the throttle. Experimented with a little throttle too. Forgot which was which.
Helps to leave it at manual focus so you don't refocus every single time you take a shot. Do share your shots here when you've tried it. This post has been edited by DJFoo000: Apr 22 2010, 06:23 PM |
