I think I have been "long" enough in the local ICE forums to see some of the interesting developments. Although not as long as some of the really old timers which have been trying to dominate most of the ICE sections in popular sites. I guessed the mycarhifi forum is getting quiet nowadays. So, it is not a surprise to see that lowyat is increasingly gaining its popularity as a rendervouz for the ICE fanatics and hence with their hardcore opinions (which was once deemed as unchallenged) . Well, the 'gang' hate to be challenged anyway.

My opinion is that, this is a democratic country and one has the liberty to speak freely although not really without bars. What I hope to see is that we should just learn to tolerate each others' opinions. There is nothing wrong or right in ICE. My advice to newbies is that there should also learn to do the research themselves and experience the 101 mysteries in ICE notwithstanding all the voodoos that might be associated with this hobby.

All I can say is that 'supersound' has just been made another target (or I should say another toy to keep the gang entertained). Another good example was kyheng in ZTH (which can now be inserted into the buku sejarah of ICE).

In short, it takes two hands to make a sound.

Is mycarhifi getting quiet nowadays? I don't think so, it is going to die. If no acc shops paying for the license, it is already closed down, just like gr8tunes.net. No need to mention icehifi which is more or less the same.
People nowadays are leaning towards DIY and looking for best bang for buck products(buying directly from overseas) even a girl(Sincy) willing to take the trouble to DIY her system which cause some other problems(blown pico fuse on her HU). Time has changed what we can see, some may adopt it but some may not. Can rm1 junk still can be sold for rm100? Nope, people now are not stupid like last time.
I do read kyheng's posts before and I do found it is informative, but only the setback is the way he voice it up may be different from others. But then, I also can see is the same group of people is doing the same thing from last time till now. And now I can see him on DIYMA. While he is on "international" standard, this group of people still hiding in the small well and keep on repeating the same thing of promoting their acc shops and bash people that come in to share knowledge.
