JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer are the brands you may consider. Price will be slightly different from places to places. If I tell you my place(Seremban) got selling a HU that you needed for the price you want and you stay in Sabah, will you come and buy? Asking price on forums only gives you some idea what are the average price.....

If just change the HU with minimum wiring involved, the cost for it range from rm15-30.

^Nope, cannot say the best..... Quite subjective on this statement. What I can say is, in terms of $/performance, I will give Pioneer 8/10.

^Guess you are the fellow without brain. What have you contribute so long over except keep on attacking me and ask people to g to your acc shops that you like? Doing free ads? How much they pay you? Maybe I can nego with them and join your group. If they pay you rm1000 per month, I just take rm100, atleast I have more knowledge(except personal attacks) than you at any 1 time.

If your way of asking newbies to go to this or that acc shop means contribute is kinda funny.

Is mycarhifi getting quiet nowadays? I don't think so, it is going to die. If no acc shops paying for the license, it is already closed down, just like gr8tunes.net. No need to mention icehifi which is more or less the same.
People nowadays are leaning towards DIY and looking for best bang for buck products(buying directly from overseas) even a girl(Sincy) willing to take the trouble to DIY her system which cause some other problems(blown pico fuse on her HU). Time has changed what we can see, some may adopt it but some may not. Can rm1 junk still can be sold for rm100? Nope, people now are not stupid like last time.
I do read kyheng's posts before and I do found it is informative, but only the setback is the way he voice it up may be different from others. But then, I also can see is the same group of people is doing the same thing from last time till now. And now I can see him on DIYMA. While he is on "international" standard, this group of people still hiding in the small well and keep on repeating the same thing of promoting their acc shops and bash people that come in to share knowledge.

Will I die because I cannot sell my stuffs? Nope, not at all. In fact, now I'm better by not selling speakers. Is you that are in trouble. The desperate fellow is you, YAG. Because you know that your boss is suffering on business downturn, that's why you come here by changing the name in order to start your business here.

You never sell, but you chase people out when there's people saying something bad the shops you have relations and telling people that expensive is good by visiting your acc shops.
