Eric did one DIY for me dah~ kelv when u want to do for my furkids? And KIT KAT ATHENA look awesome!! Added on February 8, 2010, 10:18 am QUOTE(jolenelarhhs @ Feb 8 2010, 08:01 AM) Hmm. Never heard or seen that kind of wheel before, is it a new design? Or just that they don't have much in msia? o__o Those are the custom cruisers made by Bourbon from GC. Since its a little heavier than the average wodent wheels, its really expensive to bring into malaysia lol. You can see how wide the tracks are there are much more benefits. They are also called 'custom' cruisers for a reason. You can customize it to how wide the tracks u want to be, 1/2 bounce or full bounce, with or without the hole covers and much more. The cruisers are a real hit in the states is it very very expensive? Are there more benefits compared to Wodent Wheel? hehe This post has been edited by SugarCoatedCandy: Feb 8 2010, 10:18 AM |

QUOTE(chamyk2311 @ Feb 23 2010, 03:24 PM) make sure u change their pouch very very often... the best is everyday. and clean them using baby wipes everyday because underage joeys can't take care of themselves. So you are their parent now, cleaning them and feeding them. Good luck. May god Bless the babies. Please sms Kelvin when u are free, i'm sure he can help you alot! In my opinion.. i would not change the pouch to often. Well at least not daily QUOTE(dreak89 @ Feb 23 2010, 04:19 PM) actually,i buy a pair glider..and i'm afraid both of them are twin.. Perhaps u can get reference from him, if he did any neutering in the past. If not just come take a drive to KL and neuter your glider at Hands n Paws.that's why i want to neuter the male.. i found one vet in penang, told me he can do neuter male glider.. he also work with zoo before n want to look at my glider first to make sure it is ready or not. can i trust him?? he seems like have an experience with suggy.. QUOTE(kemek @ Feb 23 2010, 05:50 PM) Hi guys, A balance diet for me would be HPW. But there is actually a few more which u can choose from. Fruits and veges should be accompanied with that balanced diet newbie here.. Want ask about SG diet.. How to balance the diet? Based on my reading, they need 75% fruit+veggie and 25% meat.. As an extra information, i do breed cricket and king mealworm for my tarantula.. The problem is how to ensure the ratio is right? Still blur blur.. Yes,i do read the PDF table from 1st page.. By the way my SG is adult female approx. 1 years old. Izit ok to adopt mature SG? Will take her next week.. Please help me as Im in love with SG since 3 years back.Just now got the chance and Im afraid i will not be able to serve the right food for her. Thanks in advance. You can view some discussion here at Suggie Nutrition 101 = http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=800472&hl= Adopting mature SGs will require more time on bonding if the glider isnt tame. Is this gonna be your first glider? If it is, i hope you are a patient person This post has been edited by SugarCoatedCandy: Feb 23 2010, 06:29 PM |

QUOTE(kemek @ Feb 23 2010, 06:55 PM) thanks for the reply. Looking forward for it.. My first wild glider took me 4 months to get her to trust me. She STILL bites me occasionally XD it depends on the glider too.. sometimes they can adapt fast.. some may take longer. Dont let it discourage you, keep bonding tho So far she doesn't look very tame. How long will it take to tame it? I might play with her most of my time since all my tarantula are aggresive type |

QUOTE(kemek @ Feb 24 2010, 10:54 AM) Guys, question again A diet is a diet.. if you are given a diet.. would u just rather eat roti everyday? or would u rather have a good WHOLESOME meal, included with all the protein, vitamins to ensure that you are not gonna be damm thin.. or mal nutritioned. Ask yourself that. AS A GLIDER OWNER, clearly i want whats best for my gliders to ensure they grow up to in the most pink of health! I wouldnt say its a CHOICE, it is a MUST.. quite frankly!~ Having improper diet can cause a glider to get illneses like HLP (Hind leg paralysis), they could self multilate, bloat, indigestion.. they could even have other problems in the long run... i can drag this discussion very very long if i find my illness sheet.what happen to our SG if we didnt follow the diet that everyone use? Any case example? Sorry, noob question but better ask before it happen. TAKE NOTE that glider who have poor diet, appear to be more SCRAWNY, THIN, and WEAK if you compare with other gliders that have a GOOD AND STABLE diet. Gliders with a PROPER diet DO NOT smell as bad as gliders who does not have a proper diet. I suggest you go to Glidercentral and have a look around. THE VERY FIRST THING they take into consideration is DIET.. DIET DIET DIET.. because a glider with a proper diet and also proper lifestyle.. can live up to 14-15 years in captivity. Would u rather have a shorter lifespan glider? I think not. QUOTE(kemek @ Feb 24 2010, 12:51 PM) Thanks. Im afraid what will happen if i cannot afford to buy suggested diet. Guess i can change the diet everyday depending on their need and my wallet.. It was already said, having a glider isnt cheap~ it also COMES with other RESPONSIBILITIES on top of it~ think about vet trips too.. if your glider gets sick..please read this- http://suggiesavers.org/donot.html This post has been edited by SugarCoatedCandy: Feb 24 2010, 02:54 PM |

QUOTE(sodox @ Feb 28 2010, 01:37 PM) Hi i wouldnt say that there is any affordable/cheap price for suggies. If from the start you are expecting to have everything cheap, then if i may say so this is not the pet for you. You can have a look at this article i lay'ed out before about the real costs of keeping a glider - http://alturl.com/x38uPrice wise, most of them are of coz over RM250 at least.. Petshops even worst more than RM300 over. The latter one, of coz u dont know what kind of health issues they have. If its too cheap also, sometimes u dont know what is their condition. QUOTE(sodox @ Feb 28 2010, 07:56 PM) i've found out few seller from mudah and the price is around 400-450 for pair joeys..but then ive read whole of this thread and im afraid it is too cheap to be good..thats why i ask..thanx for the page provided,i'll make more research and re-consider of getting SG..im aware of the expensive starting cost but i just wonder how much the cost of food(complete diet) for a pair of joeys per month? @lori - lol lorry, im not really a notable expert, but i do have some common glider knowledge.. I would be more happy to share with anyone. @Sodox - I will say quite frankly.. NONE of the sellers in mudah boleh pakai one.. 1st, most of them sell underaged joeys. 2nd, they know NOTHING about a glider's diet & lifestyle. 3rd, to them housing gliders in a hamster cage is OK! As for expenses, i can safely say i can spend almost close to RM200 per month for all the gliders that i have. That includes their diet, fresh fruits and veges and as well as treats. So maybe a pair could be around RM50 or more depending on what diet you give. Remember fresh fruits and veges is needed daily.. You might have to buy these every 3-5 days. You know lah they spoil easily XD |

I would get rid of the cat food immediately. Irresponsible Shops of coz will tell u rubbish.. cuz they dont care of the joey, they just want to push sales. Please fix your glider's daily diet FIRST.. start by getting a proper diet. NOW that the mommy has joeys IP, she needs more protein. Bugsy is a very good brand that i have been using without any complications. But it always ends up to the owner, how much you want to feed them.
