My gliders also sometimes accidently dip their tail in their HPW.. that is NOT how basah it gets until it becomes too scrawny like that. I think your glider got overgrooming issues or mites. Why dont you take her to dr jenny?

QUOTE(jitshiong @ Mar 16 2010, 09:35 AM) it will only cos u like RM 20 for consultation? or is it RM 15? Thats correct jitshiong.. its RM15 for consultation per glider spend a lil bit for your babies, it's just a fraction of money for thier well-being.... n the tail...it shouldn't be wet...even if they urinate.... something not right there |

QUOTE(Cabok @ Mar 16 2010, 12:28 PM) may i know which LRT? sorry since im from penang. and how much does taxi really cost? because me always kena tipu with KL taxi driver. Lets say you are from KL sentral, take the LRT to the Kelana Jaya station. From there got shuttle bus to go inside and into the aman suria area. Else just take a cab and go there straight. It should not be more than RM10 for cab i think. Coz the distance is very2 near..Your glider definitely got overgrooming/mites issues This post has been edited by SugarCoatedCandy: Mar 16 2010, 12:42 PM |

1. I dint really understand the first part XD but im assuming you go and kacau him when he's tired. But i dont' get why he wants to bite. Hissing in what way? Is it hissing or crabbing?
2. Fully bonded means you can handle the glider without making it crab, and bite. The glider is able to find that you are its sacred tree, so no matter where it goes, it will still go back to you. Like what ted said - mutual understanding 3. Errr my gliders have no such yellow color at the chin O_o is it hard? Having gebu tail doesnt mean its healthy, you have to look at the body overall. There are many supplements to choose from. What is it that you are actually trying to supply to its body >_< are you a HPW user? I don't recall what your diet you were on sorry.. and since people in this thread come and go >_< kinda hard to remember people huhuhuu (aside the usual members) |

Clearly then you are not too bonded with him yet.. He doesnt really trust you, and also he doesnt want to go inside his pouch, he still wants to play. Its like saying to a 5 yr old kid, stop playing and come home now. Of coz the kid will sulk rite?

FlukSin - like they said.. 3ft cage is minimum
Throw away the coconut, i see got pouch already... the coconut can stain your glider and its harder for you to scoop them out. Wheel is essential.. Its a 1 time buy.. not every month need to buy Added on March 17, 2010, 1:10 am QUOTE(chamyk2311 @ Mar 16 2010, 11:52 PM) Killer instincts my dear~ This post has been edited by SugarCoatedCandy: Mar 17 2010, 01:11 AM |

QUOTE(rehohk @ Mar 18 2010, 10:32 AM) hye... i found a breeder...he said, better to keep female first rather than male...coz male tend to rape female and its not goof if the female become a younger mother...it it true..i have a male oledy..so if i buy female, how??need to put separately?? That is of coz a fact.. If you already have a male, doesnt mean you need a female to accompany it. Another male can also be a good pair. If you really decided to get a female, then of coz they both have to be separated and introduced when the female is much older. And you do know if a male and female pair, will breed. Are you up for breeding complications? |

And people will think breeding 1 white tip with another will produce another white tip joey
any glider can basically produce a white tip.. just see shazman's glider.. Its white tipped but the parents which were from cipan were pretty much standard grey gliders This post has been edited by SugarCoatedCandy: Mar 19 2010, 03:26 PM |

QUOTE(chamyk2311 @ Mar 19 2010, 03:39 PM) just like albino sg right? Which is like 1 in a million chances to get 1 of them from normal color sg right? Nope, to produce albinos one of the parents MUST have at least the albino gene. But usually there are percentages in the genes. For example 100% albino het. means both parents carries the albino gene. But if that normal glider HAS some of the albino gene like maybe 33% or 50% then its possible to produce. Something liek that lah |

Book hooks i think will still give some opening for the glider. You know gliders are pretty smart animals. Better to seal it shut. The best way to put food for them is still the main big door

Im more concerned about the small opening, that they might try to slide their tail or head ke apa ke, and then end up getting stuck. It just might be possible

OMG thank god you found her.. Was the cage the 3ft cage? This is like the 3rd time i heard of glider's escaping from the cage
Both of them are not introduced yet? I wouldnt say it will cause stress, but if they are both bonded together they just might. Since both of them are females, why dont you do proper introduction and get them to stay together in a bigger cage? |
