he seem don like me anymore...he very afraid wih me suddenly..keep poo n pee on me when i let him glide on me

read up on bonding... bonding with a glider doesnt happen overnite my fren. they cannot control bowel movements, i think we discussed this many many many many times already. this means when they wanna pee and pooo, they will go regardless what time, when and how they want.

QUOTE(rehohk @ Mar 23 2010, 08:23 PM)
tq vincent....
yesterday he ok with me...
today, when touch him...he stare at me...when wanna pick him...he hold very tight at the cage...

yesterday, he accept me(friend)...today, he dont want me(stranger)
*
im just wondering, since u say you are a student, you are playing with your glider during the day time? u do know they are nocturnal animals, this means they are active during the nite. During the day they would not want to be disturb and sleep all day. Just imagine someone wake you up in the middle of your sleep asking you to entertain them. Will you? Again.. bonding.. non bonded gliders will act like you are a stranger.

QUOTE(FlukSin_ @ Mar 23 2010, 08:25 PM)
I adopt another new female glider today =\ It bark non stop (not crab) when she's with my other glider sleeping in my bonding pouch. Why ? =\
*
Did you do any proper introduction or u just straight away put them together? Gliders bark in the wild to call upon another glider for attention and companion. This is a normal thing when you have more than 1 glider. Sometimes they bark to their owners too, for attention.

My other 2 glider is actually quite "gentlemen". Cause my new joey brought in try to bite them or even defensive actions against them, but my 2 male glider just let her hit or bite without doing anything but just crab (may be scold her =D). May be not use to it, I use tissue to rub my skin and put inside the bonding pouch too =D.
*
im assuming your female is still a juvie? you letting 2 males rape her at that age? If a girl gets cornered by 2 men, you think she wont defend herself? you do know gliders brought home to a new place with other gliders need a proper 'introduction'?

QUOTE(rehohk @ Mar 23 2010, 09:35 PM)
TQ SCC...yes, i'm student...that y i spent my time only day time..cannot night....Now, i revision period, no class...every day, i woke him 3 times...
'feed using my hand at 11am...then 3pm...then at 7pm...At night, dun dare disturb him, he jump in cage non stop...hihi...

i just get cnfuse, because today, he pretend not know me, and stare at me...yesterday, i treat him like mentioned(feed using my hand 3 times)...he enjoy the honeydew...today, i put mango..he even dont lick my hand..that y i afraid..afraid he sick...i think he only like honeydew

tq for keep reminding about pee and poo...after this, will try vincent tips...will let him poo n pee..then let him glide on me...
*
I understand being a student, u might not have time during the night. But you must face the fact that gliders are nocturnal. They are active during the nite. I know some people in glider central manage to bond their gliders to fit their daily schedule.. but it all takes a lot of time and effort. The times u said when you feed your glider, are usually when a glider sleeps and is practically reluctant to do anything else but sleep. At night is the best time to bond.. like you said he will jump here and there in the cage non stop. See? nite - active - nocturnal smile.gif

He's not pretending not to know you lol. Rileks, bond more with him.. give him time. If you think he is sick, taking him to the vet wont hurt smile.gif

When i wake my gliders up and they are on my hand, i leave my glider on my hand and stick my hand in the cage to let it potty. So easy to flick the poo into the cage laugh.gif have some wet wipes beside you so easier to wipe your hands smile.gif

QUOTE(FlukSin_ @ Mar 24 2010, 11:35 AM)
I don't think so... both male are still joey, 1 started to have abit of bald spot which is around 4 months of adoption and another male is only 1 month of adoption. I brought in a female just 1 day ago. I think should be no problem with it. (cause I've seen all their actions towards my new "Sissy" =D
*
How old is the female? Regardless i suggest you listen to what eric just said. That trio isnt a good combo. We are only advising you, its up to you whether to take it or not. Like i said before, if the female is still not matured, she can easily get pregnant at a young age.. and will lead to numerous complications. Joey's can have bald spots as early as 1-2 months OOP. All male joeys are different, some might come early.. some a bit later.

QUOTE(Cabok @ Mar 24 2010, 07:24 PM)
is it normal for sugar glider to have "tahi mata"?
*
Gliders shud have clean and clear eyes. If there is a discharge or it is watery; those are signs of illnesses. I have never come across such thing so i wouldnt know what it is. I just read about this last time.

QUOTE(eric138 @ Mar 24 2010, 09:29 PM)
I think lately is Escaping season for gliders...i got a call from my partner jus now.. My 3 princess escaped from the cage when my partner is cleaning the cage.

Fortunately, all of them are found. Money is shaking her leg comfortably inside laundry bag.. Belle hide inside the drawer and eating my dog's treat.. And the most terribly thing is, Lara actually flirting with Micky at another cage... biggrin.gif
*
Oh mai~ lucky found them back!
unsure.gif now im scared..

QUOTE(kreiu @ Mar 29 2010, 12:31 PM)
i dint see coz my friend buy it for me.
but the diet he use.. eventhough he's selling sg yummies and so on from the us.. he fed his sg using cat food.. kinda f*** up i think.

yesterday i blend some apple and papaya.. adding some sugar...
then put in the cage... at first he just taste a bit and then just climb up the cage..as this is his first night at his new home. and yesterday also got my first pee from him. middle of the night i sneak to see how's he doing.. suprisingly he lick all the mix i made....

this morning.. he poo on my hand.. hahahahah
for the joey .. judging from my friends who get there story.. he also selling some underage joey... but u have to test the joey if u wanna buy from that guy.. lukily my joey is active... and later plan go to vet to check if he is 100% healthy.
*
I think i know which seller this is..

@Eric.. dia yang suka compare compare prices of the glider things he sells rite? laugh.gif

Why did you add sugar into that mix of apple and papaya? blink.gif

thats why i said.. accidentaly.. i saw ads in mudah.. then i ask my friend to go buy in sunday.. then i ask hun in friday.. the next day my friends said that he already buy..  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

and no worries.. i serve my sg as best as i could as he is my baby now rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif
*
If the joey is indeed underage.. its best you get some milk replacer for it sleep.gif why did you get your friend to buy for you. Isnt it yours? You should be the one buying it yourself. Just my 2 cents. Also by looking at your replies, you might need to buck up on your glider knowledge.

Hi azrash, i just need to stress out that any video coming from this vet.. Try not to take it as an advice. Because this vet if i am not mistaken was paid by a company (Perfect pocket pets - PPP) to market their "so called nutritious pellets" by doing all these videos. PPP is well known to sell sick and underaged gliders and not to mention, imitate a load of glider items for their dirty business. They are also a big time mill breeder over there. They also would provide a lot of misleading info. If you browse thru glidercentral you can see a lot of debate going on about these videos.

Some good reference regarding ASGV smile.gif
sorry lazy to link those addresses so i just paste them all >.<
