he nly likes hneydew..

today , i put sweet mngo..i lenyek to make like gliderslurp,put gliderade but,he dont touch..i suap oso he dunwant...
i put apple, eat a little bit only..
i dun wan he sick...

but i feed yogurt(4 pieces) he like too...but that just a treat.might afraid he sick coz dun want eat
i really dunno which fruit sg like...

maybe he's not hungry YET... try to monitor him during the night.

u try give food at night lor. Just now is still evening, still sleepy for him. Try at 9-11pm than u give fruit. Give fresh fresh wan. they loved it

he seem don like me anymore...he very afraid wih me suddenly..keep poo n pee on me when i let him glide on me

Haha rehohk, slowly n patient, if u scare pee n poo, just let your gilder come out cage then put into big huge box let them inside play around there, after they pee n poo finish then you start to bonding with him.
I do like that when I wash my glider's cage, put them in big big box with toys, after they play n pee or poo, then when I attach back the cage, I can direct play with my glider directly without scare pee or poo

yesterday, he accept me(friend)...today, he dont want me(stranger)

I adopt another new female glider today =\ It bark non stop (not crab) when she's with my other glider sleeping in my bonding pouch. Why ? =\

read up on bonding... bonding with a glider doesnt happen overnite my fren. they cannot control bowel movements, i think we discussed this many many many many times already. this means when they wanna pee and pooo, they will go regardless what time, when and how they want.

im just wondering, since u say you are a student, you are playing with your glider during the day time? u do know they are nocturnal animals, this means they are active during the nite. During the day they would not want to be disturb and sleep all day. Just imagine someone wake you up in the middle of your sleep asking you to entertain them. Will you? Again.. bonding.. non bonded gliders will act like you are a stranger.

Did you do any proper introduction or u just straight away put them together? Gliders bark in the wild to call upon another glider for attention and companion. This is a normal thing when you have more than 1 glider. Sometimes they bark to their owners too, for attention.

maybe she's not used to the bonding pouch..some more she's not used to your smell yet...

the sounds they make can indicate many things we just try to relate in order to understand what they want..

My other 2 glider is actually quite "gentlemen". Cause my new joey brought in try to bite them or even defensive actions against them, but my 2 male glider just let her hit or bite without doing anything but just crab (may be scold her =D). May be not use to it, I use tissue to rub my skin and put inside the bonding pouch too =D.

TQ SCC...yes, i'm student...that y i spent my time only day time..cannot night....Now, i revision period, no class...every day, i woke him 3 times...
'feed using my hand at 11am...then 3pm...then at 7pm...At night, dun dare disturb him, he jump in cage non stop...hihi...

i just get cnfuse, because today, he pretend not know me, and stare at me...yesterday, i treat him like mentioned(feed using my hand 3 times)...he enjoy the honeydew...today, i put mango..he even dont lick my hand..that y i afraid..afraid he sick...i think he only like honeydew

im assuming your female is still a juvie? you letting 2 males rape her at that age? If a girl gets cornered by 2 men, you think she wont defend herself? you do know gliders brought home to a new place with other gliders need a proper 'introduction'?

I understand being a student, u might not have time during the night. But you must face the fact that gliders are nocturnal. They are active during the nite. I know some people in glider central manage to bond their gliders to fit their daily schedule.. but it all takes a lot of time and effort. The times u said when you feed your glider, are usually when a glider sleeps and is practically reluctant to do anything else but sleep. At night is the best time to bond.. like you said he will jump here and there in the cage non stop. See? nite - active - nocturnal

He's not pretending not to know you lol. Rileks, bond more with him.. give him time. If you think he is sick, taking him to the vet wont hurt

When i wake my gliders up and they are on my hand, i leave my glider on my hand and stick my hand in the cage to let it potty. So easy to flick the poo into the cage have some wet wipes beside you so easier to wipe your hands

like SCC said u must properly introduce your new gliders to your old ones...lucky ur glider oni crab if lets say they break into a fight then they scratch each other and if one got hurt worse is get blind..who u gonna blame...?

well the feeding time for u is the time where the sg is sleeping..if i ask u to wake up 3am and 5am to eat would u want to eat?surely no..well u should know that gliders are nocturnal animals and the active time is at night...the food we normaly leave it in the bowl for them and feed at night...some separate into 2 session and feed in the early morning also...u must understand their active period is for them to hunt for food and also to roam and play

Ya perfectly fine their tummy is the size of your thumb oni... mana boleh makan byk2. You can try feeding at nite once, and another one time early the next morning like 7am

Yeap, it's the 3ft cage. I tied the loose wire area with cable ties already. Looks ugly but at least she can't squeeze through that hole now. She's gonna stay in the exoterra first till I check the whole cage and am sure there's no other openings.
Already introduced and were staying together, but only for 2-3weeks since I only got Criscille on 1st of March.

Yea. I am very very lucky these days. But before I get lucky, I'm very very unlucky ! Something just happen that made me realize even exoterra ain't good enough to keep a desperate glider from getting away from her medications
Was thinking that if I could let them play together, I would supervise them. Stop them if they start grooming each other or so. Was thinking that maybe this way they wouldn't feel so stress as they were once staying together.

UPDATES !

As u guys know, Crislyn was missing this morning. I went to school after finding her, feeding her the medicine and other stuff. Now, I just came back from school [10.40PM] as I took extra classes and stayed back till 10PM. Maid went to close the windows nearby and was tugging on the curtains when :" Eek ekk Eekk !!! " [Sorry, don't know how to 'type' a glider's crabbing sound, but u guys get it.] The Wondrous Sugar Glider Magician Did Her Famous Magic Act - Disappearing From The Cage. Got a shock that it was CRISLYN again, as she was not in the 3ft cage anymore !!!!
I never suspected Criscille since she was so quiet and never come out till midnight unless I wake her. But it would only be either Crislyn or Criscille since I only have 2 gliders or 2 pets that actually make that sound. Anyways, I went right to the curtains, stand on the window grill and try to reach her. [No choice, chairs are too short!] Was still thinking who it was, though my mind already believe it was Crislyn once again. Poor glider was still crabbing, till I reach my hands up there and she kept quiet. Now I comfirm that it's Crislyn as if it was Criscille, she'd still crab a lil. I grabbed Crislyn and brought her down. By that time my mum, sister and maid were watching me and was really surprised when I told them it's Crislyn and not Criscille. Once again, I was unlucky and then lucky. Crislyn's sleeping under my shirt right now. Better let her rest a little before I try to feed her the medicine again. Poor thing's so afraid, she was crawling about the whole time since I left her in the exoterra till I went to school. Doubt she had much rest today.

Somehow I assume that Crislyn might be acting this way and trying so hard to get out because of the medicine? She really really dislike the medicine. She's fine when she realize I'm just playing with her, but when it's time for the medicine, she'd try to run off and hide in every way she can. She only started acting this way and getting loose after she started getting her medicine for the 2/3rd time. And also, my maid realize that she only gets missing during the morning and now at night - which is the time I feed her the medicine. Though I think that she is trying to get out every time to avoid taking her medicines, but not at a specific time. Just that it was such a coincidence that we always find her missing around her medication time.

I think I'll put her in the big cage tonight. Then Criscille in the exoterra. Or.. after making sure the 3ft cage has no other escapes, put Criscille in the 3ft cage and Crislyn in the exoterra left inside the big cage. Double protection - Just in case.
Should I continue force feed her the medicine tonight or maybe I'll try mixing the medicine with her food tonight. Though she might not finish the whole thing, at least she'd be eating some. Or skip tonight [except the one to apply on her pouch] and ask Dr.Jenny for advice and also if there are other ways to feed the medicine.

anyway, i think suggie is like kids, try to avoid medcine...

i think, u should mix the medcine with the food that he like much..u cn try this..i hope it will work...

Oh mai~ Jolene i suggest you just get another new 3ft cage >.< rather than fixing it~ nothing wrong with having spares.. they come in handy anyways
