@jitshiong. Really sad to hear that. Thats y no matter how little my time is, i will rather do all my things by myself without asking my maid's help such as clean their cages and feeding them. I really scare 1 day my pets have the same fate as the poor girl's had, not only SG, even guinea pigs, dogs and cats. So i will not hesitate to scold them if they try to do something harmful to my babies. NEVER!

for me, as a lesson, we must not put easy on our pet to some1's hand unless u are very very very sure he/she is the right person. When i was away for a few days, i will put my trust to my little brother. Even though he's abit young and still schooling but he is definitely the best person i can choose. Even my oldest sister i cannot trust. At jitshiong case, we might not know if the maid is telling the truth or not. Or maybe it's just an accident... just be more precautions. We are dealing with lifes, not some video games or computers...

QUOTE(jitshiong @ Feb 9 2010, 08:59 AM) well, so it's either the maid or the owner is lying.as the autopsy report goes...the person responsible for it can only be the maid, or the owner... not those kind of injury from a fall... sugar gliders can glide, so they hardly get injuries that i've stated from a fall.. even from a high place... |

QUOTE(armand_adli @ Feb 23 2010, 01:25 AM) make sure u change their pouch very very often... the best is everyday. and clean them using baby wipes everyday because underage joeys can't take care of themselves. So you are their parent now, cleaning them and feeding them. Good luck. May god Bless the babies. Please sms Kelvin when u are free, i'm sure he can help you alot! |

QUOTE(SugarCoatedCandy @ Feb 24 2010, 10:15 AM) Yup that is true.. a very uncleaned environment for an SG can cause to different kinds of bacteria. oh i see. got 1 thing that really bothers me. which is the insect that used to fly on the leftover food. look like the flys but abit smaller that 1. i dunno wat it calls. everytime i put their food there, on the 2nd day morning, sure got a few of the small flies on their leftover food. How can i get rid of that? Even after i clean their cage and spray all over the play, the little thing still go back. even i move their cage spot, from the toilet until my living room, still got @.@ |

Dear eric, did u cut fresh fruits everyday for ur sg? Or when u buy back the fruits, u cut all of them and u put it into a container and put it into the freezer? When u wan to make dinner for ur sg, u take out from the freezer?
I now using the 2nd method, wanna ask all of you there if it's ok to do. divide the fruits (already cut) into the ice cube tray. When it's frozen, i put it into a plactics and put into the freezer. When i wan to make dinner, i take out 1/2 cubes for each glider and i unfreeze it in the microwave. Wanna ask if anyone is doing the sameway as i do? I din't follow the frist method, which is cut fresh fruits everyday because sg eats very little, and sometimes the fruits left alot, that will be very waste. |

there is a cart for u to download at the first page. use that cart to measure your food ratio ca:ph.... make sure the glider food ratio is around 1.5-2:1 .... look at the cart, it will tell u which fruit & vege is suitable for glider
