4g92p = proton punya 1.6 engine ... if just put 4g92 some ppl might mistake it for mivec de ma ...
thats how other differentiate 4g93 (lancer) and 4g93p (s.gti or putra) and 4g93t (gsr)

stock engine to increase power? ... stroke it to 1.6 ... get a performance camshafts (hi hi cam) ... LCP ... modded exhaust system ... standalone ECU ...
with all this .. u can chop alot of stock cars jor ... maybe even shin's ride ... LOLx
with all this mod, u will still be paying rm90 a year ... last year i read a blog b4, the writer mention he manage to find a set of 1.8 stroker kit for his 4g15 ... he mention that 4g15 block is thick and durable so can be used but its rare ... wonder if its true ..

not those ready-made kits ... he got from 4g18 i think .. need mod .. forgot jor lo, that blog i found in google one ..

budakhops, u should have survey around b4 buying it .... maybe u can find a DOHC with a better value ... if buying from halfcut, prepare to fork out money to overhaul it just in case ... PnP if possible ...

most probably the 1.6 u r looking at is SOHC ..
very hard to advice u ... this kind of stuff needs hands-on testing .. where is ur location? maybe some of us can help or something ...

engine condition u need to test drive ... can the engine ignite on 1st key turn? ... open the engine cap, see inside wat color:
- dark brown = no good
- black = go f**k the seller
- brownish (light brown) = ok = go for it if test drive is good
- normal silver/steel color = hard to tell, its either the engine been through overhaul or newly transplanted due to previous owner did some stupid stuff OR the owner took superb care ... its a gamble ...
