hmm for channel mixer you can go to:
File > Preferences > Playback > DSP Manager > then click channemixer on the right and click "<==" to make it active. if you're not using 5.1 it's actually useless but you can change the "stereoimage width"

are you using C3? i never own the C3 but have listened before. looks like it should use different EQ from example as it has different subwoofer power.

Hi i have downloading the foobar.

After doing the steps above, how to open the Channel Mixer? To see the general, upmix, downmix, subwoofer, delay, profile.

Thanks.

in the top left, click file, go to preferences. choose playback in left column and select DSP Manager. then select ChannelMixer and add it into the active list.

Ya i done that. After that do what? Nothing comes out after i put it to active list. Where to find the general tab, upmix tab, subwoofer tab?

+ General Tab > Set channels to 6 for 5.1 speakers.
+ Upmix Tab > Set upmix to Surround
+ Upmix Tab > Decide the sliders. the "rear in front" gives your front channel a more "depth", if you set it to 0 it would result in very dry sound. Vice versa.
+ Subwoofer Tab > Tick subwoofer to add more bass.

Thanks.

lol no problem. mind you the "Channel Mixer" only works perfectly with 5.1 speakers / headphone. pay attention to the EQ (especially first 3 bars) for best result.

Thx man tried this on my old Edifier M1300 which currently running on only right speaker. The booms really BOOM.... will definitely use this guide again with my new 'soon' to buy R501 MK2/ C3
EDIT: I used the latest Foobar... the one you posted didn't really make difference.
EDIT 2: Um, looks like i forgot to disable all sound effects on my sound card... Your foobar also works now.

lyricsplugin no longer working due to main website update. guy who translate the winamp software into foobar2000 no longer provide latest foo_uie_lyricsplugin.dll, please use MiniLyrics (free) if you want more lyrics. foobar2000 at version 1.1.2 now.

Already test it, well, the result is kinda.. so so..
Perhaps my song lack off bass.
Edifier C3 got the audio clarity, but lack of bass.. i mean it.
Has resort to Sandbox.. fake bass..most the high tone bass comming out from the midrange lol.. no wonder noob out there *include me*, said Using SRS sandbox will boost ur bass..

Btw, I dont think C3 sub is weak, it just the amp it self.
Try google Edifier C5 and HCS 5640, all of em seem using the same speaker as C3,

now im start to think, should i swap my op amp or put some active subwoofer amp?

wow... +20dB also still weak? well from the first time i heard C3 i know it's designed that way. someone in the forum said he replaced the sub with rockford fosgate sub and the sound is great. so im also not sure the weaknesses lies in the amp or the subwoofer cone itself.

if you're not satisfied with Z5500 bass response you can use the foobar2000 EQ to tweak only the bass. depends on what you need though.

Well, if some forumer said replacing the sub will give extra bass, i guess the sub is the problem? i saw in some thread in lowyat, about Modding C3, complain about the quality of speaker cable in the sub it self, just normal black and white wire u found in pasar malam punya lampu...

im not really sure, since i don't have C3... there is no documentation on what he done so we cannot confirm it yet.. it's also possible if he uses a better sub with lower impedance. it will quickly raise the bass output but will probably overheat the C3 amp when blasted.

but at least the good thing about C3 is that it is not muddy like say R501 when the bass is set to max in the console. what bass setting u using now?
