I've switched to Foobar(this version by nismo) from being a loyal Winamp user since 1998. Bass on my Z2300 is much deeper now.

hmm for channel mixer you can go to:
File > Preferences > Playback > DSP Manager > then click channemixer on the right and click "<==" to make it active. if you're not using 5.1 it's actually useless but you can change the "stereoimage width"

are you using C3? i never own the C3 but have listened before. looks like it should use different EQ from example as it has different subwoofer power.

well what you want more from the C3? want more bass or midrange or some treble? personally i just tweak the bass settings because it's quite universal. if i mess with other bars, it sounds good in certain songs and terrible in others.

well i have a creative x-fi 5.1 usb before, sold it off because some incompatibilities with my desktop. if you're using desktop i'd say better buy PCI one. if you're using laptop, i suggest just stick to the onboard one, unless your onboard is really bad.

the lyrics plugin should be ready to use, unless my foobar2000 experience some problem (if u have smaller screen resolution than mine). just click "lyrics" on the left corner it should be displaying the correct lyrics.

Using S730, Very unpleasnat strong bass.... For Pop song such as RnB it's ok, but for Audiophile songs it's really killin the song. Need to set SW to +2 out of 10...

for the S730 try setting it the SW to 0 and increase the slider by only 7bars on 55hz only.

lol, S730 has a strong and capable subwoofer. increasing too much bass (as the title) will rclxub.gif
but, im sure it will still benefit if you find the appropriate setting.

never tried one. only got the x-fi usb. you can try this foobar if you want more 'oomph' from your Z4. but don't expect much. it's only using 4" driver.

If you have a seriously big room/place,the subwoofer will blend nicely
If you are in a small room then only rclxub.gif

agree. placing my speakers in small bedroom sound terrible. once i place it in my living room, where my desktop stays, it sounded much much better.

in fact, all of the speakers i tested uses 8inch sub. with 5inch sub the difference is small. S730 is even bigger shocking.gif
