My laptop sound like infected by virus which will increase delay time while starting up, even boot window disc. But it's useless on ubuntu and XP i think. But if that fellow know that she will create another virus to infect both unbuntu and window 7 as well. Then, i really need to throw my harddisc ...
My primary harddisc being lock by something !! I think is the virus or worm. AV can not detect it ... AV will heng when scanning virus @.@

had u tried using Anti-Malware Bytes?? im been using this coz it remove trojan....hijakers etc..etc stuff....u get it at the net....

by the any good software recommend for IP tacker and log me in ? I remember a forum do showing those software for hacking, remove trojan and so on ~~

dackson, cannot reformat? try removing ur current hdd, put in a spare one, install an OS, then reformat the current hdd in external case?

what settings used on dirt 2?? im on low settings and can maintain 30+ fps all da way..

and for GTA 4.. how much fps u guys get ah? at wad settings.. wanna try out da game..

No talking about this kind of thing ...haha ^^...google around and you'll find some quite useful software to do so...and also, there's a software where you can mirror your IP ..this is quite useful dealing with stuff like this ..well, mine also the same lor ..just giving you hints...

Dirt 2 a...i recall a few high settings...then i put 2x MSAA iirc..lolz..if not, very pixel-ish, no mood to play...

as for GTA4, last time i got try before la..but that's before the 3rd patch come out..basically all setting gives u a 22fps average, because the GPU is b****ing around...but i heard recent patch optimized the GPU usage a lot already, so it's not surprising that u would get 40fps++ on low setting

This case is for the worst case !! Ppl help me change into ubuntu then go used GRUP then just followed by win7.

high settings with 2x MSAA ah.. like very nice eh.. if i put all low settings with 2x MSAA.. the game not smooth wor..

no la..not high setting...i think a few higher settings...i also forgot liao...
2x MSAA is still ok la..most the time the race would be smooth..really need to heatsink mod and overclock soon

so some options are in high settings lah?? lolz..

im more to the gameplay.. smoothness comes first.. but then.. if can combine with great graphics also nice lah.. hahaa

lemme go home print screen that setting page la..but i think for smoothness sake i turn everything to low already, apart from 4x AF and 2x MSAA..then car detail is medium, decal on, driver medium, crowd low(empty stadium very potong steam) ..the rest forgot liao..too many stuff

Can create partition or not?? If can then maybe you can create one free partition and install Ubuntu...

Well, dackson said that some of the major command cannot be done ...even cannot scandisk ...so, maybe creating/deleting a partition are also ones that got infected

i didnt answer because dunno wat u want...
do u want to reformat?
if so, put in a live cd of ubuntu
in the live session, open the terminal
type sudo gpart
and format it clean clean...
