@verdang, its depends on two main factors lor... surrounding temperatures and driver version. Some drivers are more efficient than the default ones, eg 185.68/185.85.

You can check previous benchmarks to see temperature. (see front page)

my driver i used for my old benchmarks (ie, not the dirt 2 one) was on 185.68. Still my favourite driver, since its the easiest to install... hahaha although its bad practice. Cause 185.68 is not a clean install.

Now i'm using the default driver by BenQ for Win 7.

dudes, what's ME2? mirror's edge?

anyways, you know on S42, when i switch between intel and nvidia gc, there's like a 6-8 second lag, screen goes black, while waiting for the 9600.

so now nvidia got the optimus technology, where it auto switch for you... will the lag still be there? or do they keep both gc running?

guys, just info here. the official driver for win 7 from BenQ 187.45 does not support the game from futuremark, Shattered Horizons. Driver will crash once the level is loaded.

anyways, installing the DOX one, 195.62, will see the temp and performance of that driver lur. Hope the game can work. On steam 50% sale. 7.50 pounds. roughly about RM40, the thing is only online play, although you can host LAN. Game seems dam cool though. Shooting in space.

Added on February 21, 2010, 4:41 amwell installed the 195.62, quite fast and painless. Did it in like 15 mins.
Idle temp is 59 celcuis. Max gaming temp is 75 celcuis. Room temperature is about 18-22 degrees. Don't know why but 186.68 gave me better temp readings. No obvious improvement in gameplay. hm...

i played shattered horizons lur. But the gc i put native reso, everything as low as possible lur. But i'll test on Dirt 2 and GRID.

76C about the same as 186.68, but 186.68 has better idle temp. My one confirm S42 lur, so noisy! the fan keep making the stupid noise.

lol about temp management. The best i had was 186.68 which gave me 54 celcius on idle. The max however is the same this one i using, about 74 celcius (see ss in previous post)

i only used 185.85 for a short while before going back to 186.68, performance wise there's nothing noticable. No major problem with the patch. And its actually easier for me to install. haha.

lol 4570 beat 9600m GT DDR2 yes, but we have GDDR3 under the hood (ok, not beat, it can match the performance of 9600m GT DDR2. Look at the benchies in astria's tread)
