QUOTE(daddoo @ May 17 2010, 01:27 PM) OK, I will take your suggestion later. Currently I am setting up the stock blade and test again, usually if I am using the ESky stock Tx, I just need to turn the gyro gain knob to 1 o'clock direction then the tail will lock nicely. Tried mode1, tried mode2 too. Im good at mode1, and i can hover well with mode2. But my brain refuse to tell that im using mode2, somemore most of the ppl flyinf at my side using mode1 and most importantly im comfortable with mode1 so... Mode1 tho i wish i could start with mode2, but i dont want to learn all over again. When I was using the long main blade, I can't even lock the tail with the gain knob turn to 2 o'clock direction, but I also did not see tail wagging lah, it looks like the gain still not yet over compensate, and can be increased more .... Anyway, qiw, how do u set ur trex? I suppose mine is the clone of urs, so any tips? |

QUOTE(daddoo @ May 17 2010, 04:31 PM) Havent la, my ccpm only arrived tomorrow with disassembled rotor head and tail boom. I wonder if i could fix it on my own.I also dont know how to set it at all, sigh. heliguru.com.sg charge sgd180 for settingup, i dont have the money lol. Anyway, can u guys advise me regarding the charging and balancing. I understand that, charging with 1c means i put a power of 1000mah into the batt in 1hour right? so in that case for 2200mah i charge for 2.2hours for a full charge? Also i understand that balancing is a function where u balance all ur cells to 3.7v to make all the cells equal? Can advise me on method of charging, what to set etc etc, coz my flightmax 2200mah 25c arrving tmrw as well. |

QUOTE(cliffang83 @ May 17 2010, 05:30 PM) Use only charger specific for lipo only... never do any of your own calculation... lipo is a very dangerous batt.... you must know what you are doing.... lipo can be a small TNT... be aware of it... Ok so let see if i understand.for a 2200mah lipo... 1c is 2.2amp... which doesn't means of 2.2 hours to complete charge... the time will be determined by the smart charger, when max level reached, it'll stop. Never charge lipo higher than 1c... 1800mah > 1c=1.8amp If you are charging a 2200mah... you should try charging it at 2amp or lesser.... I always set at 80% charging rate, example 2200mah charge at 1.8amp... Fully charged lipo can be at 4.2v per cell... 3.7v is the optimal voltage... Your smart lipo charger will cut off when 4.2v reaches... Balancing function of the lipo charger will perform such process: charge > determine voltage difference > discharge higher volt cell to be equal to others, repeat again............. Charge function will just charge but will still balance (without discharging) each cell... IMPORTANT: Don't forget to apply locktite to any screw going into metal parts... no locktite require to tight into plastic parts.. Failure to do so will result of mechanical failure = crash = CASH$$$ 1c equals to 1.8amp. So for 2200 charge it at 1c or lesser. Time its fully charge will determine by the charger (it will indicate u if its fully charge). Balancer is a funtion where it will charge, determine each cell and if one of the cell overcharge, it will charge the specific cell to make all equal?
