yeap i know regarding the mode 2 to real full scale heli. though i can play mode 2, but i feel more comfortable using mode 1. regarding the mode 1 or mode 2 at flyer site, from what i know in JB not many use mode 2. so if i use mode 2, its hard for me to let them set mine, actually doesnt really matter mode 2 or mode 1, i did a hard research on this.
and this is what i found. mode 1 or mode 2 or mode 3 or mode 2. use whichever u feel confident flying. as for me, mode 1. haha i need a futaba sim cable..arhh! Added on May 2, 2010, 10:41 pmregarding the lama motor, i notice this "krenngg krenggg" sound when i fly..what is that? This post has been edited by sLapshock: May 2 2010, 10:41 PM |

Guys, i want somebody to explain this to me.
Alot of people said that coaxial can never handle the wind (can never handle means once coaxial get a good blow gush of wind, its UNCONTROLABLE and crash) so i need someone to comment on this video, maybe QiW and cliffang would want to. video 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bmd8Ic7YM04 video 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfdMivTHKn0&feature=related video 3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIGITN0ZjcY&feature=related |

bro, did you see the first video fly by that malay guy, he fly i think about 9 to 10 storey high. no wind at that height? i doubt man. the second video no wind correct, but the first video damn high and the trees are moving. so how is that possible with coaxial?
daddoo: yeah, but this lama outdoor really interest me, i dont have to stress when fly. Added on May 6, 2010, 11:46 am QUOTE(QiW @ May 4 2010, 10:08 PM) well .. at least now u can learn to take care of your heli better .. hehehehe bro, im talking about the first video. that is flying high with wind. the first video fly by the malay guy, look carefully, 10 to 12 storey high with wind clearly blown on the trees. Added on May 4, 2010, 10:15 pm flying high is not the same as flying in the wind laaa if u look carefully at the videos .. notice the trees and leaves are quite still ... almost no wind .. even the dried leaves on the ground not moving at all second video is just fly high, but still there must be some MPH of wind that high right? daddoo: yeah, but this lama outdoor really shock me as it can fly that high with wind, i dont have to stress when fly. to buy. where CCPM is another thing, it can invert hover, fast FF and yeah expensive parts to waste my money on.. flying 3d yada yada (not so interested This post has been edited by sLapshock: May 6 2010, 11:46 AM |

Notice at 01:25, no wind at that high meh? My house in singapore at 6th floor also quite windy already.
Not meant to argue la bro hahaha, or not to say coaxial the best or what...but i thought coaxial cannot fly that high with little wind at all but it can. |

Play CCPM involve some stress factor in it, you will scare of crash and pay money.
If you want to just play simple sport flight and stress free, than coaxial way to go. Why do people buy CCPM, more control like? Out of the basic real flight control. Haha. |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ May 7 2010, 02:37 PM) using a simulator with a keyboard is pointless. what i do is simply use a saitek dual analog gamepad and map it to the simulator like the actual tx config. this will at least help with orientation. using an actual esky tx kills your AA really quick. yeah, that big lama coaxial ma. coz some said coaxial can only fly with only a little wind, but i dont think there's a little wind up there, its still possible though. cool. good for funfly, stress free, crashworthy.that's a Big LAMA. it's design for outdoors. it's bigger, has a more powerful motor, uses a more powerful lipo. don't expect the standard sized LAMA to be able to do that. the Big LAMA can withstand wind a lot better. buy the LED for the esky co-dauphin fuselage, should be around rm8. IINM, yours is LAMA v3, right? so just slap that led anywhere you like. no real modding required. but that LED is blue though. |
