Just pick up my shipment from US and already sent my new racquet for stringing today. I was a bit unlucky cos stringer got emergency and was not able to stringing my racquet.

Anyone interested in APDGT (L3), Youtek Radical MP (L3) and Youtek Radical Pro (L3)?

pinky my boy .. there's always a balance point... coz if u string your racq too high u wun hav power and by not having much assistance fr your racq.. you'll tend to swing harder and that wud ruin either your swing or your timing.. goes the same with too low tension. And can't say that by stringing higher you get control.. coz wat's the point of control if you are not swinging the racq rather than pushing the ball ...  sometimes even arguably lower tension would giv you added control also coz of the topspin nature of your shots... so it's still very subjective in terms of control... So basically you gotta find a tension that suites you... a balance of power and control... and every racq and every diff string you try .. you'll need to repeat the whole process again ...      but yar i think fr the way you swing .. it's quite soft .. so by lowering your tension would assist you to hit a deeper shot ..smile.gif

I couldn't sleep coz yan had a nice racket cover bag, so I goggled the WHOLE nite below is what I came up with ;-p
I saw this type of bag from Japan not 100% sure if they will ship oversea's, if anyone berani do bulk, let us fellow lowyatians know k!

P/s just kidding about research abt the bag, I not so gila one lol, I am the 'need my beauty sleep type' whistling.gif

Here is a link to the place
http://en.item.rakuten.com/kpi/wrz623300/

The bag itself isn't expensive around RM60 or less but without shipping.
Any takers?

hey guys..
pls help me.i need sum info on replacement grip.
i use overgrips over my replacement.but my hands sweat alot.
even d replacemnet grips below it oso bcome damp.n bcoz of dat i frequently change my overgrips.which i think is costly.
so i need sum advice..
n oso wt replacementgrips r good?leaher or normal ones?
tq..

What exactly are you looking for?

If you are using a overgrip on top of a replacement grip, just change the overgrip then, but since you have stated even your replacement grip is getting wet by your sweat.....

Are you wrapping your replacement grip around your racket grip correctly?
How can the water seep so bad.... even though I sweat alot I cannot sweat as much as you claim, but I use a huge wrist band on both arms and I change them every set.

Just change your your replacement grip to a new one, then re-wrap again with overgrip again....this is the small price to pay for tennis player, what overgrip are you using, if you don't mind me asking?

i dun like using wristbands..but i start using them again due 2 my seaty hands....i use gamma overgrips from kevin.i think i regrip my overgrips once a week atleast...haish.
so i wanna know wt replacement grips r good.dat wouldnt soak sweat dat much ie leather replacemnt grips(i think)..then i put d overgrips.
*
The ones from Kevin , are highly recommended, I am using them myself.
How often do you play and how long?
If its everyday and at least 2 hours a day, its about right changing overgrip once a week.
I play almost everyday and with coaching I average 5-8 hours a day but hardly change my grips, maybe every 2-3 weeks, though they look like crap, they don't peel/flake off and they are still tacky,I strongly urge investing in wristbands, try wearing them for a week, see got improvement or not icon_rolleyes.gif

Guys,

how many of you are using advance level oversize racquet?
*
I dunno.....
Not exactly sure what you mean by advance level oversize racket, my opinion is the better you are , you can stick with a mid or midsize racket nothing more than 100 square inches, if you askin about something like 110 square inches and above , I am clueless, I have never used anything larger than 95 period.
