no kidding... i added one last time and instantly the racket felt funny. thought it must be me not being used to the larger grip size, but after a few hits found something seriously wrong. put it on the scale, and wahlau, the racket, strung, with heatshrink sleeve and one overgrip weighs like close to 365gms!!!
no wonder it felt so sluggish. QUOTE(k3vin82 @ Mar 19 2010, 09:56 AM) |

difficult to say. depends on how tight u pull it and how much overlap there is. but on the whole i'd think if one overgrip would probably bring it to somewhere in between L2 and L3.

aisey that one serious already...
if u have 2 rackets in one compartment, put one of them in a plastic bag. the even if it hits the other (or vice versa) scratches shd not result. of course if it hits each other hard enuf it will chip, but chances are you'll get more scratches playing with it than it picks up in the bag, unless you have a habit of running cross-country with your racket bags... This post has been edited by scirocco: Mar 24 2010, 09:47 AMBTW, mid and midsize are the same right? From my understanding, bigger than midsize would be midplus, and bigger than midplus would be oversize. Right? |

yup, adrenaline is definitely a bit softer than alu rough, but the advantages are it holds tension better, and of course, its not a tennis elbow recipe like the AP rough.
QUOTE(angel-ice @ Mar 24 2010, 11:11 AM) @SCIROCCO lux adrenaline feels softer than alu p rough, kurang kaw for me liao, will stay with alu power for now until developed tennis elbow huhuh Added on March 24, 2010, 1:43 pmshd be okay. pm me. those 4 layers are already a mod lah... each overgrip weighs around 7g, so effectively u r adding close to 30g (!!!) to the original specs of the racket.
if u find it too head light, u could try adding some lead tape to the head, or better still put the prestige cap grommets on it ala murray... i kid you not, its a very popular mod for the radical series. QUOTE(Jules @ Apr 6 2010, 07:10 PM) Yea twisting. i'm currently on a Flexpoint Rad MP (stock with no modifications unless u consider almost 4 layers of overgrip). Great for groundstrokes but a little too light on the head (to me at least). Added on April 6, 2010, 7:17 pm Tiger? No la. I'd say lucky or perhaps the 'feel good' factor when I started holding those great racquets. The 4D200 plays lighter than the k90? But the specs say almost the same as the k90 (in this case i'm just comparing the asian version since i only see those). So inv, which version of the 4D200 have you gotten? |

yup, yan's got the pics.
but u gotta check compatibility carefully. for microgel/youtek series quite straightforward, just got to watch out for headsize and string pattern, but flexpoint prestige grommets are completely different in that there is a cutout for the flexpoint dimple. QUOTE(Yan @ Apr 7 2010, 10:04 AM) |

i'm doing a bulk buy from TW soon. PM me, thanks!
QUOTE(gmorque @ Apr 9 2010, 12:30 AM) usually what's the cost for the shipping if order from t/w?.. any opinion on how many people should share the order in order to bring down the shipping cost to a minimum? p/s: already tested the tetron micro-x bought from karom after office hour.. need to familiarize with ball because presureless ball tends to make my shot goes farther than usual. if same power, need to increase spin.. huhu.. however, it's a good ball though.. |
