If a HP Elitebook also can't fit the durable requirement, I can't say much for a notebook under 3k sweat.gif

and what you mean with a printer?

most likely is HP DM3, but its CULV notebook and no dvd drive, but you do get sturdy body...
or perhaps HP Probook 4410 series and Dell Vostro as well.

Well, if want 3 year warranty and still under rm 2.2k, not much to choose....

similar as 14z would be Acer 4810TZ@Rm1999, freeDOS, upgrade to 3 years warranty would be rm 198...

i thought so 1st, review certainly so gud, but when bought it, other than anti scratch , even my old fujitsu work better than tat hp, regarding temperature n that annoying flickering. shakehead.gif
*
by complete package, what you mean?

Is the Inspiron 1420 using Nvidia 8400M? Since that is a problematic card, its Nvidia fault. Other brand also suffer the same fate which uses the same graphic card.

how light weight is light?

QUOTE(jack2 @ Feb 26 2010, 10:39 AM)

Its not really problem with touchpad, its the surface which is shiny like a mirror...
Well, the amd version fits your budget...

If wanted lightweight and asus, can consider Asus U80V, P7450 and ATiHD4570, 2.1KG@RM2799

If long battery life then Toshiba T130@RM3299
or you can consider Asus UL80Vt@RM2999

Though don't hope much on a notebook sound system, better invest in better headphone or speaker.

Asus K40AB/K50AB@RM1999,
Lenovo G450 with Nvidia G210M@RM1999,
The lenovo G450 will have better battery life that the Asus K40AB/K50AB but has a bit weaker GPU and stronger CPU compared to the Asus.

Acer wise, Acer 4740@RM1999, though gaming performance wise, lose to those two.
2-3 hours battery life is pretty normal for notebook with dedicated GPU...
If you want more than that, then you need either get culv notebook or notebook with intel gma which sacrifice performance instead of battery life...

Lenovo G450 should be silver colour?

Acer 4530 is old model...
