guys, i have another problem. I am using psp 2k 5.50 gen d3 and my fren was using psp 1k 5.50 m33-4. We wanted to play monster hunter adhoc. But the problem is when we enter the hall, only i can see his character. he cannot see mine character. When he moves his character i can see his character moving around in gathering hall in my psp but he cannot see mine. Then we thought is firmware problem so he flashed his psp 1k to 5.50 gen d3 same as mine but the problem still there. Anyone know what is this problem about? Izzit his wifi problem?(mine psp 2k can play with other psp 2k or 3k without any problem). But he still can use his psp 1k to online google any everything. Any solution to this?

i'm not really into PSP...last time i only download and play...can you lead me to a stable firmware? mine didn't upgrade for more than 1 year oledy...
i'm interest to know how to remove the umd power cable as well...if i remove it, could i connect it back in the future?
how bout the repairing cost for this problem? would it be expensive?

clarify which monster hunter you guys playing
i assume u guys are playing monster hunter freedom unite
few possibilities i could think of

1. different channel on wifi, go to settings > network settings > ad hoc mode, you both have to be on the same channel. eg : you and him gotta be on automatic, or channel 1, or any same channel
2. you and him using different version of monster hunter freedom unite. For your info, there's US and EU version, if i'm not mistaken, both version doesn't connect to each other
3. you two are using different monster hunter. eg: 1 using freedom unite another using portable 2g(which i doubt this could happen )

i was just wondering if it's possible to bypass UMD Video disc region-lock on GEN-D3 CFW? i was told it's possible on past CFWs but nvr attempt it before to find out for sure... cheers.

I got a problem T.T

After i format my psp memory stick yesterday..

Today I lost 2 software..
1 is the 5.03 gen-c and another 1 i forgot already.. (this 2 software is located in the game memory stick folder) After i format the memory card and they are gone..
How? Can i download it back?
Can someone guide me pls..

helllo i want to ask something. i already have cfw 4.01 m33-2 on my psp and i want to update it to latest gen d3 cfw

the question here is can i transfer the update file into my using memory card reader since i dont have the usb cable. all the information i read they said use usb cable

@serpent1990, i was told by another technician that it might be firmware issue. need to double check (it's not easy to remove the cables and yes it can be put back on later)
@htpkevin, how you know that the button is working fine? it might be the board has issue =/...
