hi, i used psp 3000... i used cfw 5.03 prometheus... i work.. but when i play the game in a few day... then i shut down by it self n back to original version 5.03... it did that many time... i want to kown, it will harm my psp??? coz i really afraid it will bricked n cannot be repair... can someone help me.... please.....

Can i play monster hunter online using cfw 5.03 prometheus? the seller say can still go in the monster hunter server but cant c other player de...is it true? Tell me plz

use only chickhen hack and 5.03xxxxx cfw. other than 5.03 will brick coz it modifies flash memory.

chickhen will not bricks coz it resides in ram.

u will got brick if u touch flash memory.

Hey guys
Today I brought my PSP 3k to Game shop(lowyat) to install game, before I passed to him I had double check everything inside my psp and the screen. After 1 hour later..... I went back the shop to collect my PSP and found out that my screen has a 1 straight line. So I asked the guy, what happened to my psp? why got a straight line? He told me that , is a dead pixel. Well.... I'm not sure whether he lying or not. So for make sure I've go every game shop at lowyat and sg.wang but all of them told me that my screen has damaged.

I had try to google-ed the answer but is doesn't help me so much. My question is does anyone know what happen to my psp? dead pixel? or screen damaged?

then what happen after he tell u that there a dead pixel on your psp ?

@D.K.Prince, that also appeared in any screen? game? xmb? movies? even when u put into sleep mode?

btw, dead pixel = screen (lcd) damage.

He asked me to download the psp pixel software and fix it by myself. I don't know how the dead pixel looks like in LCD screen. For psp1k and psp2k will appear the black dot(dead pixel). So now i'm also not sure about it, I worry they damaged it but claim that is my dead pixel.

well if that is the case i don't think u can fix it by urself by running the video but worth trying.

u should scold them and ask them to replace new psp,or ask them to install the dead pixel software since they are the one who make ur psp like that.
thats why i prefer install game by myself bcause last time also got same kind of problem as yours,not dead pixel but a bit scratch on the back of psp.

or other way is u just give ur m.stick to the seller there and ask them to use m.card reader to install game.keep ur psp
