Almost fainted after trying to be smart....this is what happened :-p
I bought PSP2000 in 2008 with 3.90 m33-3 and wanna upgrade cfw & ofw because I can't play some latest game. Can't remembered how I upgraded it to 5.03, however ChickHEN unable to start. All my games can't load and I can't further upgrade to 5.50 or downgrade back to 3.90. Got panic and pissed off too. Tried downloading many version of ChickHEN but all having same problem. Tried search everywhere for solution, almost give up until I saw a suggestion to use "Turbo7 for 503" (this is actually enhance version of ChickHEN) Thinking my PSP2000 is already a dead brick, no harm trying install Turbo7. Rebooted and managed to flash to 5.03 ChickHEN. Tried this and that and everything is back in order. Then immediately I flash my PSP2000 to 5.03 Gen-C FULL. Should I stick to 5.03 Gen-C or should I go for 5.50 Gen-D? Please guide as I don't want spend another full day trying to recover damage |

My PSP revert back to 5.03 just now after I tried switch games. Need to redo with Turbo7 and then patch with 5.03 Gen-C.
I tried yesterday by turning off and on several times, even removed battery and it still in 5.03 Gen-C. What is wrong with my PSP? HELP!!! BTW, should I retain Turbo7 & Gen-C files after completed upgrade or can I remove them? This post has been edited by desmond_fm: Sep 29 2010, 11:17 PM |
