no, psp does not even use samsung lcd ...most psp 1k and 2k runs sharp lcd, not just first batch only ...now it's using some taiwan brand..

i didn't install any additional plugins before. Only the defaults remained. Do i have to try and disble those default plugins?

I suspected is the firmware problem too, but after update, it still persists....

try to cut out the seplugin folder from your memory card and test your psp. that should disable all plugin i guess

i don't think there's such software/homebrew yet...but if you want to control others from using your psp, parental control might be useful for you

regarding colour and price, its depending on stock availability and demand, lets say black colour is low in stock but most of the people looking for black, by then you will see black's price increase

You can change the umd mode if dont want people to play your games.When they ask "why cannot play?"...you pretend to panic and say "you've ruined my psp!"
or you can just hide your psp bawah katil...
