This time they screw picture only, next firmware update is about SOUND!!! what international broadcast standard is that, that in zoom mode it chops off top and bottom screen, and don't allow viewer to read sub-title ??? I think astro tried to promote their byond HD through F1 pretend-HD and backfired, they imagine malaysia viewers can be easily fooled

I don't think viewers in japan or usa like to watch their TV channel cropping all around the screen, the zoom mode is plain stupid, too much screen information are being chopped off, this can considered as a failed transmission LOL

HD channels need huge bandwidth to broadcast, I don't think astro has enough transponders to broadcast all channels in HD
astro can opts for wide-screen SD transmission in 16:9 ratio and save on bandwidth, HDTV viewers will be happy, but CRT viewers may not like it |
