I think considering the blue ray quality of concert, this type of bluray disc will make the keeping of disc more worthwhile than most movie disc.

I have DVD version of the following which I think worth the mention. I have no idea where can I get the blue ray version of these:

1. joe hisaishi in nippon budokan-25 years with hayao miyaza
2. Ennio Morricone on Ennio Morricone - live concert of most of his famous movie theme works.

Those are timeless concert I think.

I also want to know... which one better?? DD HD / DTS HD got everything include Subwoofer but the sound not so concentrate , use Stereo dun have Center & Sub, Use Pro logic (for my AVR) dun have Sub....

Please give somer Advice!!

When set to DTS HD MST the surround make u like u are in the concert hall but for stereo u cant have the surround sound but if its not concert disc then i believe stereo sound better.

Dolby True HD & DTS HD MA has alot of difference based on my personal experience. DTS HD MA wide surround..

My PS3 is able to play the disc without problem. It is a 3hours+ playtime.
I started watching yesterday around 1145pm @ 20db. Thought of just testing the disc but ended up watching the whole concert till 3am.

PQ is top notch 4.5/5
AQ comes in PCM 5.1, DTSHDMA 5.1, and karaoke track as well.

i thought they said no sound from center speaker for this BD?

I have this too. The center has sound (DTS HD MA) but quite low. The AQ not as I wished as it sounds muffled whenever Jacky uses the microphone to sing. The AQ improves a bit when he uses the mic. I think the recording is not top notch.

Jacky's voice is specifically mixed to FR/FL only. center is only mixed with some ambient sounds. It was mixed specifically this way because the producer in his infinite wisdom thinks "most ppl have quality main speakers not center speakers". This is all over the HK forums. It's like listening a CD playing 2 channels plus background ambiance added.

hehe. okie sifu. guess it is not that highly recommend, anyway grabbed it to try out some concert bd. its old anyway.

Fantastic .. Awesome ... truly enjoy all the track (21 in total )


Now planning to go down Singapore for their concert on 26th march ...

yes it Only HD DVD but the sound & picture quality is superb ....

second that Celine Dion Live in Vegas... A new Day Has Come is superb as well.

The music in the BD is quite good. Only the vocal. Guess I am being too fussy

I tried finding all over the web for metal concerts , apart from Korn, Metallica, Maiden...can't find some old school bands like Deicide, Megadeth, Slayer, W.A.S.P, Kreator, Destruction.

Anyone seen or came across metal blu-ray?
