5800XM can alphanumeric on both views, as default Potrait = Alphanumeric and Landscape = QWERTY (this bug has been fixed in the new v40)

hai all..i'm using nokia5800xm for almost a year without any prob..but unfortunately last 2 days my sister wash my clothes and my hp in my trouser..it soak in the water about 15min then i quickly grab and toss and dry it through the fan..still working when i found it but the skrin full of water already..

i send it to a shop in shah alam and he said wanna do service and what sort of chemical dry up..but the percentage is 50-50 now..damn!i have to use the phone bcz my most valuable things and all my contacts and client phone number is in there..

so,here im asking all,i know the chances is 50-50 but can i retrieve back all my contacts in the phone?or can it have the possibility to use the hp back?or is there any recommended shop that can help me?plz help...really2 need help and urgently...thanks all...huhu

but this one can have a transparent always on calendar show at the HS leh which also can include personal notes to show at HS as well oh, more powerful apps oh...

Added on January 28, 2010, 11:53 amif u previous do backup using the default file manager before then u should have those copies of backup files within the E:\Backup folder then u can just remove out ur sd card and read it using card reader and copy out the Backup folder....
or if u done any backup with the PC Suite before u also should have those backup mah....
only if u NEVER do backup before... then all those contacts/messages will still store within the phone memory loh... but if u never do the contacts setting setting all ur contacts should be in your SIM card loh...

after upgrading the firmware and before updating the firmware to the latest, occasionally my system will still show some fuzzy color lines and reboots itself.

any other DIY solutions?

as in FP, HARD RESET

if u enounter any issue after FW update, Hard Reset is the only solution, this may due to apps clashing which does not cope up with the new FW ..

before and after i still encounter it.. but rare..

sigh.. backup and reformat and redo everything...

Pardon me for malas nak selak part by part... anyway, i remember somebody asking can play the video files .avi or.rmvb with the tube...

as far as i can see... the only application media player Tube had is Real player.. so if i want to play a normal .avi file that can play with PC do i have to convert it 1st of just transfer thru usb and walahhh... can play already the ori .avi file..

what converter do you recommend? what media player or 3rd party player compatible with tube to play those video files...? any tutorial on that? anyway where is the FP... can i have the link.. kinda noobs with this TS...
