Just wondering nowadays what's the best tools to do undervolting on Window 7?
I was reading this: http://forum.notebookreview.com/hardware-c...ting-guide.html But it was written few years ago, so has anything changed? |

RMClock, CrystalCPUID, Notebook Hardware Monitor..
If you want apps that is uptodate, ThrottleStop, but it can only control voltage of single multiplier... As for things that changed, undervolting only apply to Core 2 Duo and below.. This post has been edited by lee_what2004: May 3 2011, 11:04 PM |

Damn. Undervolting don't work anymore.
I use to run around 1.0V run prime95 or orthos for hours. PC still work. Now keep on crashing after 1 week of undervolting. And crashing not BSOD but hanging/freeze. Hmmm. Why ah hanging? |

Did you refer to:
Attention!~ Windows 7 Users!: When using RMClock on Windows 7 this need to be done: in RMC in Management disable OS power management integration in W7 in power plan in Minimum processor state set 100% and now RMC is taking control of processor and Windows 7 of the rest Otherwise hmm i'm not sure.. |
