Stimix where you get your invi shield? I cant seem to find it anywhere.
I'd prefer a silicon case actually but no one actually sells it YET.

To me the main thing I really like about this phone is the screen display. Totally pawns 5800 if that phone is actually the comparison. IMHO its actually a higher end device

And for me SMS-ing on 5800 is more responsive than on the Vivaz. Nothing wrong with my unit definitely. Already tried 2 units.
Now using the black one which is totally a fingerprint magnet.

Hmnn I feel the touchscreen is much responsive than 5800...It's a glass touchscreen compare to soft plastic on 5800..My review pretty much consistent wth those review by gsmarena & other phone review website...except tech radar which given low rating on the camera function! - funny?

Done it at Sunway Pyramid IT ctr. needs atleast 1/2 hr for them to shield the whole phone except the screen (using normal screen protector). Be reminded hor, you will no longer get the glossy shining feel after the shield bcos the surface is not those shining type

can anyone share the internet surfing experience of this phone..? i guess it will be good rite.. since the shape just like a surf board

Opera mobile works well using this phone..but almost the same exp wth 5800 lah..except one is soft touch screen (5800) 7 the other glass hard touchscreen.

oh.. so far ok la rite.. wont lag when open heavy photo page..

and can tell me whats the best settings to take a photo?

or all set to auto? thanks

Wont lag. But you try open pictures in media.
Really a joke. Everytime I wanna find a picture that is located right at the bottom I have to scroll like mad. Not to forget, waiting for the pictures to load as well.
Is there a way to get straight to the bottom?
I'm still noob in Symbian after being used to Sony E's typical OS.

@Stimix - How much did the Skin cost?

Added on April 24, 2010, 7:20 amUp to you..My ist day testing, I set it to auto & also the LED light is on...U can check the nite shooting wth LED is slightly better than 5800 nia..not really fanstastic..but on 2nd day. I switched off the light & use, those normal dig cam mode & photos turned up stunning...nices...

BTW, saw your photo posted in the photo sharing thread..abit cacat-lah..malu SE Vivaz liao..haha..that thread is too show off the best one..not to show the testing photo..

Added on April 24, 2010, 9:42 amYou really have to get use to Symbian, it's a smartphone...& now I know why u said not use to SMS. Well touchscreen phone no matter how will be not as good as physical keypad phone when comes to SMS.. therefore certain ppl hate touchscreen for that..haha

& the browsing of photos actually faster than 5800. it's a 720Mhz processor for sure..However if compare to the simplified sony old own OS, probably faster than symbian just like my feeling comparing a 520mhz PDA speed wth Nokia5800 420Mhz speed...Symbian is not so complicated as Winmo & thus at lower 420mhz the speed actually much better than a 520Mhz Winmo!

Well probably a 420mhz symbian phone is equivalent to a 600Mhz pda liao...
So a 720mhz symbian probably equivalent to a 1Ghz Winmo liao..haha.....dun bambu me..just my 2 sen nia..

Also you hand play an important factor...You must continue focus & hv a very stable hand otherwise shaking gone dy..

Hi everyone , i had updated more information on my 1st post for the convenient of those who're interest and also transform it to the first version of Sony Ericsson Vivaz thread !

In fact, i do not own a SE Vivaz and this post originally was posted before the release of the phone and also to share the information of the SE Vivaz that have yet to be release to everyone , and i didn't expect it will transform into Vivaz official thread haha. That's the reason that i didn't reserve a few post in the 1st page and do not know a lot of information about Vivaz >.<

Anyway, i'm wondering shall we add the owner list of Vivaz? And if you got some information that want me to paste in the 1st page , can pm me ^^

Yes b4 official release, the code name = kurara. & now already released...Sony Ericson Malaysia dun really advertise this kaw-kaw 7 not many ppl know about this FASTEST Symbian phone yet.. @ 720MHZ.

Yeah for sure..but my hand abit shaky on 2nd photo..thus..lotsa noises.. liao..haha..Intend to share at the photo thread but shy..abit grainy due to my hand!
