not everyone needs video call, what's the need when the video is not clear at all and grainy, maybe for the use of checking where your partner loh....smile.gif
ayway, can use rear camera mah.......

when the phone have 3G/3.5G connectivity does not mean it also have to have video call, fast connection can be use to tethering purposes also.

Y'day Morning, I also done a short MTB GPS tracking & here's the 1st GPS tracking using Race Chrono (Wrong setting at 5M/s instead of 1M/s)..Abit jagged..If using 5800 much better. sad.gif But OK-lah acceptable..I hv not try long distance yet..bcos on long distance, (>45km..Nokia 5800 tend to hang!)...I try nxt week..at 36KM run & 2 hrs of MTB, the battery used up 50% dy.....I think 4hrs of GPS recording possible.. hmm.gif

Not a question to be asked here.
But for your sake, Ori is warranted by SE Malaysia(nationwide), whereas AP is limited by the AP company you buy from.

AP just like the approval permit for those grey car importers..sometime you might get Arabic, Phillipines or even China version..Kacau during firmware update...for eg..My old Nokia N78 was an arabic version...so this version no FM transmitter...so have to modified to Malaysia version to receive the FM transmitter firmware..

My current AP vivaz...hmnnn dunno which country version...haha..funy thing, just launched weeks ago, last week already there is firmware update liao...

BTW mine latest updated last week = 1224-4699_R2AK006 ..Hmnnn sony probaboly using standard version everywhere..no country code pulak..haha

Vivaz touchscreen is resistive touchscreen, how is it if compare to 5800 ?

(sensitivity and accurateness)

is it a disaster when typing long sms ?

bcos i am using Omnia i900, the resistive touchscreen is really..... rclxub.gif

but i think 5800 is better a bit, although i still prefer capacitive one notworthy.gif

I'm confused, vivaz is resistive touchscreen or capacitive?
Coz i rmb last time before it launched, i saw somewhere stated it's capacitive, but now i saw it's resistive. Or maybe i confused with other SE phone?

Those buly phose such are not my cup of tea..Satio, Xperia (Sumore not familair wth the green robot thingy) ..I personally like the 3.2 inch display..just nice...Not too big & not too small...I hate winmo from my past experience wth HP6515, AsusP535, Omnia & etc.

Added on April 19, 2010, 6:23 pmFrom my understanding capactive screen also hv its advantages also...for eg..u can't use stylus & imagine those small fine keyboard...not easy to type without a stylus man..I also heard bad comment by gsmarena on the nokia X6 capactive screen..nevertheless Iphone done very well on their cap screen too.. So far i hv no problem wth Nokia 5800 & SE Vivaz resistive screen.. smile.gif

1st batch of omnia really worst for their touch screen.. but for 2009 batch.. i think its really ok cos i hv been using it and no problem until now.

for iphone, yea.. its is best of touch screen phone.. coz i remember i hv read 1 benchmark for touchscreen phones and iphone is the greatest.

not bad also spec of vivaz.. since its symbian based.. it would make easier since many people already got use nokia's symbian..

Vivaz vs Satio...

I am struggle between these two. I need someone to test out the vivaz's battery (Satio's biggest downside now) if it is no better than Satio then I make up my mind.

Forget about Xperia X10. No budget.

Well I tested Y'day..The battery life can last ~ 4hrs of continous GPS tracking at low reso. Almsot similar to Nokia 5800. Tonite I will charged fully & countdown till end of this week 9Nokia 5800 can last for 5 days on standby & abit of calls)
